Can we stop having Sweat squads like these?
Can we as the community agree that we should stop having 4Man Bullying Sweat Squads like these?
Like okay I 4Ked them but I had sweat super hard using my Main Killer Blight and had a generally unfun time with 3 OoO and a ton of second chances while Tbagging at every pallet.
Like I'm generally concerned for newer or lower ranks Killers who would be inevitably matched against these guys. With a matchmaking system on the Horizon, I would always face SWFs like these? No, Thank you.

Uh... So you want to discuss your own extremely sweaty build? Or are we gonna ignore that and jump on the anti-SWF bandwagon?
It's okay to bring strong stuff on both sides. I see no problem with anything in this screenshot, except maybe the exceptionally high gamma. I'm not attempting to justify behaviour but we only have your word for it.

I get squads like that all the time, I'm a rank 17 killer and they don't have to be high ranks to have that build layout. I've had players using Kindred and Dark sense to see where everyone is at all times. some perks should really cancel each other out, this goes for killers too

I just want to discuss how unfun it is to get SWFs like these. Not argue about Ruin+Tinkerer+Undying on how sweaty it is? Like I can't even counter Object of Obsession normally while you can just go find all five Totems to counter Ruin and Undying.

Obviously Try-Hard Squads like these will never stop.
Same like super sweat killers.
It's a never ending cycle.
But at the very least games like these are quite rare.

Well i find ruin undying tinkerer extremely fun so should we have a threat about removing sweaty builds and killers like this?
The point is that killers can sweat it up just as hard and whats wrong with a team who gets cocky and runs in your face. Far better than vsing people who hide or game and hold the m1 button.

The OP's point was to vilify people that bring strong things, since that's all we see in that screenshot. And given they, as I pointed out, refused to acknowledge what is literally the strongest build in the game on one of the strongest killers in the game in doing so?

Looks like nothing survivors can bring will stop a Blight with that slowdown build. Way too overpowered.

In a competitive game things like this are supposed to be expected so i don't think that these games would stop anytime soon
Also side note how are you seeing their auras for long periods of time?

Tinkerer. If you're undetectable, you can see Objects on any distance but they can't see you. The survs will still know that the killer is looking at them because the perk will light up if the killer is looking at the object user.

Bingo. At Rank 1, it's to be expected.
Running into 3-4 man SWF groups at rank 15 (always 1-2 high rankers with a rank 18, all with meta perks) can be soul crushing, and they are always BM as hell.

Actually the Killer looking at the Object does nothing. If the Object looks in the Killers direction the icon will light up, giving away the Killers approximate location if they´re undetectable, and hence working like a premonition without CD even if "countered".

On PC if you own an nvidia graphics card, you can customize your game using their freestyle filters. I made my game sharper by removing the blur and made it a little more brighter.
If you see any fog whispherer like TheKing you can actually see his deep fried looking game because he has a freestyle nvidia filter too.

I Would disagree. There are multiple perks that do different things, different killers with different abilities that leads to a wide range of different play styles.
I'm also using the literal definition of a competitive game, which is a game in which players are pitted against one another, and the outcome is a state of which there are winners and losers. Just because there are some RNG mechanics doesn't mean it's not competitive right? don't some competitive games have RNG that could determine the outcome?
And not to be mean but to say the outcome is determined largely by RNG seems a bit hyperbolic to me. Could you provide some examples?

There's no direct comparison, and as far as perks go that's literally the strongest build the OP could be running in terms of perks. Easily comparable overall in terms of "best perks for each side."

Except the 'extremely sweaty build' can be nullified by doing bones. I honestly don't understand why this combo is considered that great. It's Hex reliant, and Hex's aren't reliable.

Please, if Ruin/Undying is so weak, then why is it everywhere? Why is every streamer and content creator running it? Why is every killer running it?
Claiming something is weak just because you don't want to admit it is strong is not okay. The facts are there: the meta shifted. And meta's only shift with strength.

@MadLordJack I did not say it's weak. Reread what I posted. I said I don't see it as that great. Strong, sure, but it's rng reliant. I can't consider something that requires rng to be 'extremely sweaty,' as all that needs to be done is bones. That's just my opinion, though.

I am not even convinced that this was a 4man squad since you only need one OoO and not 3.
Also i hear you laughing during the match or who did laugh there? That was just playing the game without sweat.

My mic wasnt recording and those two voices you heard laugh were my friends enjoying seeing me suffer were just spectators because I had been streaming the game on our discord channel.

So why does it matter who bring what perks into a match... No one is forced to run specific perks for anything
And don't @ me about "second chance" cause the only way a "second chance" can exist is to be able to bring survivors back from death...
Ruin has already been changed- Nothing else can be changed (IMO)
Tinkerer has already been changed- I don't see this perk being changed so soon
Undying is new and has yet to be fully tested ( I don't even have it yet)- The Devs don't have enough stats yet
DS has been changed multiple times- What else can be dome to make the perk still be anything
Unbreakable only works in the dying state- What can be done to change this perk

DS is easy. Give some visual cue when it's active, so killers don't have to dramatically change their playstyle just because it exists. And disable it the second a survivor enters a locker.
Also - nitpicking semantics isn't an especially productive line of discussion.

Those specs are out, and nothing beyond a basic brightness meter just like on an old tv, which could never brighten a dark game like DBD that much. Consoles are locked down in hundreds of ways.

Honestly I'd rather get teams like this sometimes. Game's so boring now and you barely have to try against any of the survivor groups you come across. A match like this would definitely shake things up a bit.

I don't get the appeal of playing like that personally, but it's not like they're breaking any rules so it doesn't make any more sense to ask people to stop doing it than it does to tell someone to stop playing a certain killer. Which doesn't make sense.

Nah I like playing with sweaty squads AND also against them, as they are an actual challenge. 99% of my games against solo survivors are like a walk on the beach where I have to put almost 0 effort to win my matches. But 4 SWF actually force me to focus and play good

Eh. Complaining about Meta-Perks on Survivors while using the most Meta Perks on one of the strongest Killers. And having the Game so bright that you can see across the whole map? Which would tell me that you sweat in your games in general, if you need to adjust DBD with Filters.

You’d have made a better point if you didn’t get the 4k.
I do think though I may quit if they change undying/ruin immediately and leave DH/DS/Unbreakable alone. I go against those kind of perk combos so often. Its high time they started addressing the meta on both sides not just one.

It has been shadow nerfed already.
Its only being used by everyone because it has some sort of placebo effect, and also because it was good the first week and they’re still mentally hooked on that.
It sounds good on paper as well but I do think the best players will shift back to more reliable builds

If the game had lobbies such as casual and sweaty (which I am not suggesting), then players could self sort to their play style. Killers never know what types of survivors they will encounter and vice versa.

This part simply reads as if you wanted to be the only sweaty one and that you're entitled to an easy match. It seems to me the matchmaking worked perfectly for oncs. You didn't select your main because you saw a swf, you queued up like that. Nothing to complain about here (except OoO. Please, delete that perk).
If you want easier games then derank. But if you ready up geared for war, then don't whine when a war is what you get.

So you're complaining about survivors sweating when you're literally sweating too?
^ That's a huge problem in this community btw, Killers trying their hardest to win but don't want their opponents to try hard too, like?? You were using one of OR the most powerful killer build in the game, proxy camped and tried to tunnel Ace with 4 gens left, shook your head at Feng in a toxic way even tho she hasnt done anything to you to deserve toxicity.
Also, you haven't played the game a lot if they're the sweatiest team you ever faced. There was only one good looper and it took them 10 minutes to get all 5 gens done.
"Teabag at every pallet"? Man stop, Quentin teabagged one time and that's all.
EDIT: Just saw your other thread, yeah ok you're one of these Killers, the kind who reaaaally cares about their ranks and their kills, i suppose you also play like this against solo teams.

matches like this is what killing solo Q,low rank killer and new comers most killer have to play sweaty like this just in case it going to be like this which kills solo easily and low rank killers face these groups a lot.
new comers not going to want to stay because it to much to keep up with the sweat in this game.
