Question about Freddy/Quentin License issue and next gen

Some of my friends think that with the recent license issues regarding Nightmare on Elm Street Freddy and Quentin won't be playable on the next generation (PS5/Xbox Series X).

Would that be true?

Because i can't imagine that you would just lose that whole chapter once you upgrade to the next gen.

    I think the upgrade to next gen doesn’t really count as a new platform like Nintendo Switch was for example. So my guess is, it will still be available. Maybe they will also resolve the issue with this license until then (hopefully).


    would have been a good question for the latest dev stream since that was all about license topics..
