Morale and matchmaking

I have an idea. How amount some sort of morale meter to display to fellow survivors. If you've been having a rough go of things it would be a way to let people know you've been being beaten down this stretch of games. It seems stupid but maybe it could help people be less annoyed by people quitting via hook suicide or explain just giving up in a chase.


Being grouped up with people eager to all hook suicide right after rank reset several games in a row. Being grouped with some of them again just 2 awful games later. Having a killer quit because someone used a key and 1 tunneled person is dead and one used hatch. Games where the killer hard tunnels from the first hook stealth or not. Having survivors unhook you while injured in front of a killer right there with someone on their shoulder not struggling and watching them repeat it after you've died.

I know how stupid it sounds but things have gotten to the point that you have potatoes for a team or killers that only take the wusses way out like it might be their first 4k. It really feels like you have to use comms or you are going to lose without a crap load of luck. It gets a lot less fun when you at high number single digit ranks get grouped with people bordering brown ranks clearly still very new judging by repeated poor choices and bad low rank perks.


The way it seems anymore I might as well go back to F13th where if you don't find a pocket knife early the first time you get caught you are as good as dead.


I'd much rather wait a little longer to have a game where people are going to be more closely matched than to be continually dragged down despite making decent choices. I know not everyone feels that way perhaps give us a choice. There MUST be some way to mitigate these problems. I was already trying to take a break despite it being the right time of year but my dumb ass logged in to get the free BP. The way it's going all the free BPs in the world won't make it seem like anything other than an exercise in futility. 1 in 5 games where I made it to the end didn't have quitters using hook suicide. Remove the struggle on hook and just don't allow an attempt to escape.


Reply or not I uninstalled so I am far less tempted to log in to wish I hadn't. I hope others have better luck than I have.
