I honestly don't know what to do in this situation.

I've come upon a killer that's looked like they were de-ranking. They just hung out in a building looking out a window the entire match then let us out. A survivor in our round said they've been getting this person a lot in the last hour and it's the same thing over and over.

Fine whatever, de-rank or play how you want. Not my business.

However, its in post game where my concern comes from.

In post match chat, the killer said for every loss they took they were physically harming themselves RL.

4 escape = 4 their method of self harming.

They have 2k+ hrs in the game, a public profile on steam and a link to a picture of a bad DBD match saying why should they care any more. (Lvl 19 killer V 3 red ranks and a purple)

I sent an in game report, and reported the profile to steam but I dunno if this is just someone's sick idea of 'fun' or of someone is honestly in need of help.

What, if anything, can be done about this?

I've been getting a lot of the same killers/survivors today as well, and honestly I don't want to re-lobby up incase I get this killer again. I shouldn't have to explain why this is alarming and triggering to me. You can figure it out. Let's move on.

Because of this, I'm also going to make a call for the ability for survivors to be able to SEE who their killer is. Not the Killer from the game, not what it is (trapper, Wraith, Spirit etc) But the STEAM NAME. So we can avoid potentially troublesome people. We can't 'block' players in DBD so at the very least let us be able to choose who we go up against to minimize trouble.

Even if it's 'just a joke', to survivors of self harm or those that have lost loved ones to self harm, it's incredibly alarming and triggering and not something I expect to have to deal with when trying to relax, unwind and enjoy my day.

I do not feel protected right now Devs.

I am going to play something else for the rest of the day.
