Charm codes should have separated uses for each platform
For example, the code can be used 10 times on Steam, 10 times on Windows Store, 10 times on consoles.
In this way, everyone is disputing against the players with their platform(talking about the speed to write the codes), so doesn't matter if the Steam players used the code 10 times, it's separated and each platform has the limit use, and then everyone gave equal chances.
Still, the idea to lock charms behind watching streams is horrible and forced.

That's an amazing idea!! Would at least give us console players a chance at getting the charms rather than having the PC players claim all of them before we can hit redeem

No, we should not even be supporting this dumb idea of a system when there are better ones.

Dumb idea? I think this would be a great addition because it'll give everyone a chance to grab a charm. You got a better idea? Enlighten us with your bright idea

What I mean is that the codes should not be kept limited. Yes @Kees_T’s idea addition would be better than the current, but we should want something that is like Klei’s system or OverWatch( don’t know how this one works, but it sounded similar to how Klei does it).

It's understandable they want the codes to be limited to prevent them being sold years down the line on e-bay or whatever.
What they COULD do is make codes unlimited redeems but have limit them to 1-2 hour redemption periods and sprinkle them throughout the day for the fog whisperers to provide. It still gives the charm exclusivity to an extent but opens up for way more of the player base to actually get a charm.

Yes I agree, the best idea here is to remove the limit for the codes and add a time limit for it to be reedemed, like 1 day after the code was published. But they didnt implemented in this way for a reason.

what was this reason piss the player base off to spit in the face of consoles players or they try to kill they game slowly....

You are 100 percent correct.
I understand you are trying to help, although you still are advocating for something not good. We should really should just not be supporting this practice in the first place.
The devs just demonstrated that they will take miles if we give them an inch so I do think that if we allow them this, then this issue will only get worse.
First its charms, then its other cosmetics, and before you know it it'll be something drastic like perks.
I really do think that is a possibility, if they could ruin one of their most important events (The Blighted Event this year) by locking cosmetics away that in the past had gave you a chance to earn them, break ps4 cap, and nerf discordance to force people to increase the grind that the devs are starting to artificially increase even more, and the other assortment of problems I haven't listed here, then I have no doubt that they would do the above.
