DBD'S Killer difficulty is all over the place
One moment I am playing my killer main (Legion) with Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer, and Discordance and having easy games. Next moment I am playing a killer I am less familiar with sub par perks and getting a lot of escapes. Hopefully MMR will be added soon because I wanna play against good teams with my main and not so good teams with my non mains :/

Its almost like you're not performing as good as you do with your main because you're not as well equipped and experienced on another Killer. Huh. I wonder how that'd be?

that's because most killers are not viable and they are perk and add-on dependent. It's like saying that clown with ruin, undying, tinkerer, and with the exhaustion and extra hindering add-ons is viable...

Read what you wrote again. You just described exactly how balance works. The Killer you're good with - you do well with. The killer you're not so good with - you do bad with. MMR is active right now, ranks no longer matter. Keep practicing, look up guides, and I think you will do fine.

Really only a few killers are so different then most other killers that this would even be true, which would be Nurse, and Spirit.
Every other killer is quite alike the others.

He's still pretty viable though, otzdarva got a 50 win streak on him. Against a 4 man SWF sweat squad yeah probably but so do most killers except maybe nurse and spirit.

Every killer is viable at every rank, wish people would stop saying that certain killers are "not viable" when that's not true at all. And that Clown build is pretty nasty, I don't see the problem with it. You shouldn't lose many games with that if you're good at killer.

that's the point: it's not the killer itself, rather the whole load out. This shows how the game it's balanced around perks, i. e. ruin + undying that gives gen pressure to killers who don't have it.

Fair point. Although I have won many times with perk-less addon-less Clown it doesn't really mean much, and his strength definitely comes from having decent perks and add-ons. And for a killer like Legion it's almost necessary to stack 4 gen perks because you have basically no power. It's the perks that are pulling most of the weight not the power itself.
