Can a person have a 72hrs ban cause dc from the game? And if it yes, it's normal?
I have a friend and he has a problem about it.
Even after 72 hours of waiting, he played a single game and after it got dced by the game or smtg else ( he didn't dc purposly) and he had an another 72 hrs ban.
He contacted to the support team and this team said to him kinda like: : "It's not our problem. It's your problem with your internet connection".
Also he's playing on another account (when he has the temporary ban) and he haven't any dc.
I heard that the devs are still didn't fix a problem about hack attacks that allow em to give a 72 hours ban to a person if they know his ID.
Do you have a friend/freinds that have some problems about 72 hours ban or kinda similar? Or you have it yourself?

it only gets to 72hours if he dcs a lot.
if he doesn't have a stable internet connection, it's on him to fix it. every time he dcs because of his bad internet, 4 other people have a bad game.
the punishment doesn't reset instantly. he needs to not dc for a while before he only gets the 5 min ban

But the problem is while he's playing on another account he haven't any dc by the game or the internet problem*. It's happening only when he's playing on a main account.

then he needs to contact support and explain that. Since it's possibly a bug in the game that would need fixing.
I personally don't believe that to be the case... but if it's true, it needs to be fixed

Just trying to make sure I understand, are you saying your friend is getting DC penalties from cancelled trials (where someone else quit during load-in and prematurely ended the match)?
As far as I currently know, a player is supposed to get DC penalties when:
- They purposefully disconnect from a match (using the in-game button).
- Their game/app closes during a match (whether due to a game crash, power outage, or manual closing).
- They lose connection to the match (due to internet outage or high/unstable latency).
If your friend is having any of these three issues, there's not much they can do about it. These are the things that the DC Penalty was intended to penalize. If they are receiving matchmaking bans from OTHER people quitting, then something's borked because only the disconnected players are intended to get the timeout.
If the game is crashing a lot for your friend on their platform (causing exponential DC Ban increases), they (or you) could create a Bug Report post or upvote an existing Bug Report so that the Devs become more aware of the issue.
There's a post from May about "Random Disconnects" that also may relate to your friend's problem: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/152610/need-community-help-random-disconnect-in-game#latest

He afraids that the support team can ban his second account due avoiding the ban

That is definitely ban-able.

The fact that they made this penalty go up to 3 ######### days in the first place for a game as casual as this is obscene. And yeah there's nothing you can do about the game randomly crashing and giving you a penalty. Even if your system and internet are fine this game can still crash like crazy because it has horrific optimisation and it's on unreal engine 4 which has never been the most stable of engines to begin with. And using an alt account is considered ban evasion. So yep, your friend is screwed because DC penalties are perfect in every way and absolutely improve the rich DbD experience :)

The only time I've heard of someone getting 72 hours after a single match was the hacking fiasco on Twitch streamers. So I'm REALLY hoping this crap isn't surfacing again.

What he (my friend) said to me about his problem:
"i got disconnected mulitple times while in match .. i keep bps and xps and it shows me the symbol like i left throug gate and i get the "disconnection from the host" message. But still get the dc penalty and it accumulated up to 70hrs for each dc"

The downside to the DC penalty: bugs, bugs and bugs. Oh, game crashed? Get a better internet connection, scrub, and stop ruining my experience in this very casual game. Also, I'm just gonna ignore the fact that you have a fast and stable connection and also a beefy rig. Also, move countries so you're right next to a server. (/s)
Why penalties are implimented this way I have no idea. The penalty should never rise to such ridiculous levels. 5-15 minutes, sure. I think I got a 2-hour one after a crash a day 3 days in a row. That's as high as it's gotten for me, and even then I rarely get crashes. But 72 hours? That makes no sense.

This is normal I took two 72 hours back to back. I got up to the 72 hour mark, left if how ever many days when back on the game played a few games dcd out of one it gave me another 72 hour .... like I haven’t just sat there and waited out the 72 hours + more to play again...... and it hasn’t even decreased on the 72 hours I wasn’t playing the game that’s stupid.

Well there's no problem here then. Multiple DCs built up to 72 hours. That's how the system works.

Being banned by the game problems is not ok

Frequent disconnections like that sounds like it's trouble on their end, not the game.

There also had to have been other levels of Dc penalties. It starts with 5 minute bans then moves up from there. Your friend DCed alot.
Your friend needs to check their connection. I say this as a person how had potato internet, which is now slightly less potato
