Prestige Levels with this much grind and this much DLC?

So, the rewards for this game need to be seriously reworked. With 21 killers and survivors to level up and the fact that they reset the perks as well as all the consumables means that there's an untenable amount of grind to get everything up. Quadrupling the amount of bloodpoints you receive if you max out everything would still leave an interminable amount of time requiring to be played to get everyone up to rank 3 prestige, and that's even if you leave them with the perks they unlocked on prior leveling passes for each character.


How can you solve this problem? As I said, it's not as simple as just jacking up the BP. And I don't think that you can fix the problem by stripping everything down to, say, one prestige level- once you roll over 50 once, you unlock all three costume pieces, boom done. Plus that'd suck for the people who played thousands of hours already. Or maybe they won't care because they just want more people to play, the time they sunk be damned.


Maybe make a Prestige level a one-time 50 or 100K BP center spoke that you must pay before you can unlock that full level 50 blood web again. Hell, make it 250 or 500K- you put in as much as you press for as long as you press so you can do part of that center spoke, but still have other blood points to spend on what you play. But make it come at 5 or 10 level 50 rank increments. Five Level 50 blood webs done? Boom, Prestige must be satisfied.


Or you could make it that whenever you roll your player level over, starting at once over 100, each level gives you a prestige point you can apply to a character of your choosing. That would mean you'd STILL have to do two full cycles of 100 levels to get everyone on both sides.


Either way, as things are, the people who spend a mid-point amount of time playing this game will start getting seriously demoralized and quit. At this point, you're not caring for the current red ranks, you're thinking of ways you'll need to make red ranks in the future.


With this current system, the most I'll ever do is the one killer I gave a prestige rank to- get that to three and call it a day.

    It would be nice if they increased how many perks show up on the bloodweb past lvl 10. having at least 2 perks to choose between lvls 10-30 seems reasonable. With every lvl of prestige you could get an extra perk showing up in the bloodweb so by prestige 3 lvl 50 you would have 6 perks to chose from the bloodweb. maybe you could spend iridescent shards to upgrade perk tiers right away.

    I think both killers and survivors should start with their personal perks at tier 3. I mean it is their own power, I am sure they already know it without us having to search them out an extra 2 times.

    The grind does need to be lessened a bit more though, at first new players will think 'wow, I can find and mix and match all these perks'. This will then change to 'oh no, I have to level all these perks. This is gonna take forever.' Then you have all future perks added to the pile.

    Maybe every 5 or 10 levels after prestige one you could tier up a perk you have found already. Found tier one tinkerer, not seen tier 2 in about 20 bloodwebs and you want it, have an option to tier it. Every prestige you do should allow you to choose one perk starting at tier 3 for all future bloodwebs, you still have to find it though. This would be a nice reward imo and slowly but surely cut the grind and give you reasons to prestige your main.

    Oh, just thought of another one- whatever Prestige Level you are, you generate Perks of that level or higher.
