Character movement glitch on PC

I'm not sure if this is a universal issue or not, but for around a month now, my DBD PC has been having this constant glitch where, my character will either be walking, running, or sometimes even just crawling, and the game will glitch my character backwards--sometimes just a step or two, sometimes ten or more. Sometimes it looks like they're teleporting backwards, and sometimes it looks more like a stuttering motion. This happens every single match that I play, various times per game. It makes my game virtually unplayable because it completely ruins chases, causes me to lose sight of where I am, and it sometimes teleports me right to the killer's feet for God's sake. This same glitch happens when I'm playing killer as well, causing me to lose survivors in chases. It's incredibly frustrating and updates aren't fixing it, and neither is uninstalling and reinstalling. My game did not always function like this on my PC; it used to play fine. If anyone has any suggestions please help; I can't play my game and enjoy it until this is fixed. Thanks.
