What is wrong with linking my Behavior account to Steam?

I linked my Behavior acocunt with Steam (as well did one of my freinds) and now neither of us can invite or play with our friends on Xbox. Has Behavior spoken on this issue? Will it be fixed? If so when? Because I dont want to unlink my account and lose all of my progression.

Did you create and link the new broken BHVR account to your steam / stadia account?
