Sorry but this needs to be said
Sorry but reading a lot of these recent posts. Are killers not suppose to be in control of matches. Are they suppose to be weak and unplayable. Is the element of balance ever going to cross the survivor main and devs minds. This is just a response to most recent posts saying killers are overpowered. Etc. Instead of putting posts up about your specific side can we please look at balance.

I see the threads, and I highly doubt many of them would be taken seriously. It's very common knowledge in the entire community that Killers are incredibly weak in the current meta, and I highly doubt the far survivor sided forums is going to desuade the dev's from balancing Killers to be stronger.
I seriously bought like 4 boxes of popcorn packs for the day they nerf Decisive Strike. It's on the list. They've mentioned it multiple times. It's all over the forums. Dev's see Decisive Strike being abused, they want to nerf it. It's coming. I hope all these sorry saps are ready for that smack of reality.

My opinion: No, killers should never be "in control of the match" as this suggests they can win if they want to at all times against any survivors regardless of their skill.
Killers should never win or have the control "by default" even if they camp/tunnel/slug at 5 gens. Getting a 4k should feel like an actual achievement (unless the survivors are potatoes that is).

The Halloween DLC still sells because of Mikey and DS. If they nerf DS and OoO less people will buy it. Look what happened to Ash when they fixed MoM.
They just want to win all the time. I remember when they added exhaustion mechanics. That patch was desperately needed because people could recover SB while running or people stacked sprinting perks and could not be caught. Even when it was obvious that change was for the good of the game a lot of people still went to the steam page and review bombed the game.

Clearly never played killer. A day in your life my mate. You think killer is easy chase one survivor for 2 minutes down them hook them bang 3 gens pop. Does that sound balanced and killer favoured

Because you're making a plea for the devs to buff killers (despite it being easier to play killer now than it ever has been), then two sentences later ask them to ignore people who only think about their side. Pick one.

I admit killers need a buff upto the current level in which survivors are that is called balance. Bring both sides to equals. Move the killers from trash to as good as survivors. Did you not read the post. Do you not know what balance means. Buff killers to the same level as survivors it all goes together in the same post.

There are 4 survivors per match and 1 killer. It is ok to dunk on killer, because 4/5th of the players are still having fun.

All youre saying is "buff my side and nuke the other". Thats not balance. Does Freddy need a buff? No. If you are advocating for certain weaker killers to be buffed than suggest which killers and what you wish to see. What you are saying is just more of this "us vs them" BS we see here far too often.
And to reiterate whats been said a number of times in this thread - Killer is easier now than its ever been. If youre still struggling thats not a game issue...

But he's right though? Removal of infinites, semi-infinites, instaheals, map adjustments, nerfed toolboxes, and coop gen repair + great skill check bonus. Crossplay gives us a bigger pool of bad survivors to go against as well. That's not to say say killer is easy all the time. It's just the easiest it has ever been.

An example of a match for you my friend. I was in a match with the doctor. Im on azarovs I send electricity and find my first survivor I chase them for about 1 minute to minute and a half. Get smacked with three pallets. One gen pops. I then smack them down and pick them up get flashlight save down them a moment later as they had wasted pallets in area. A further gen pops and then I hook them another gen pops. I chase a nearby survivor away from the hook. So not camping. I get hit with a pallet and eventually down them in this time the survivor has been unhooked and a further gen has popped. Down at four gens complete. Two hooks no kills. I find another survivor so no tunneling get two pallet smacks hit them injured state they dead hard. Last gen pops them and two more have adrenaline. I dont have noed because I haven't got a small peepee. They open both gates and they persist to teabag and walk out the gate saying gg ez. Match over in around 6 minutes. Three hooks no kills. Does this sound balanced my dear friend.

Oh well yes this is possible with nurse, spirit or Billy. Three killers out of a roster of 21 have good control. Why do I need to play top tier killers just to have a good match at this point they might as well only have those three killers. None of the rest.

I main Pig. I am sorry when you are not able to get your chases done fast, but Survivors have been nerfed constantly over the years. Not saying that those Nerfs were not justified, they clearly were. Killers on the other hand almost always got buffed (aside from the removal of some BS-Stuff like original Nurse or Spirit Add Ons). IMO since the Map Reworks, the Game is mostly balanced (aside from some Maps which are still to be changed like Ormond, Haddonfield or Midwich and Keys/Moris).

No. You are not supposed to be in "control" of matches, because that means there's no opportunity for the other side to win.
If you are so in disbelief that killers are overpowered, watch any killer streamer and you'll see the carnage. There's not a single other game you can switch to on Twitch and find such a win rate, absolutely none. This is a result of 4 years of continuous nerfing to one side and buffing to the other side.

Ruin got brutalised, pop is getting screwed, discordance has been killed, Huntress lullaby now only affects certain skill checks.

PGTW is Meta and barely touched.
Discordance is barely touched.
Lullaby should not affect Docs Skill Checks anyway (so it was a fix) and it did not affect Pigs Skill Checks for a long time (at least 1 year).

Mate the games broken. We have lost half of the original killer Playerbase with ruin nerfs another many thousand of the Playerbase left very recently.

Well without knowing more I will say this: If youre going to willingly eat that many pallets why not run spirit fury and enduring? Also as doc you shouldnt use your AoE to find survivors early - you should have a good idea as to their spawn locations. A killer, especially a doctor, should never be flashlight blinded. This is when you could use your AoE to find any survivors attempting such things or just face a wall? Also, I wouldnt recommend Noed - youre sacrificing a perk slot for the majority of the game for a CHANCE to get maybe a one hit down. If theyre already injured its pretty pointless...
Again, without knowing or seeing more I can only repeat whats been said before: This is not a balance issue...

Ruin is one of the most used and effective perks atm (it was really unhealthy in its old state), pop is still very good, discordance is still basically the same and very good and Lullaby got fixed.
None of those really help your point.

I agree and disagree. No need to take everything literally. When people are being in control that does not mean that no one survives. It merely means that they are dictating the pace of the encounter and the others are forced to adept. Right now, that is far from being the case. More often than not, it is not the survivors running away, but the killers running after, trying to catch up to a departing train, that is their game.
In that sense, with this being a survival horror game, it should indeed be the killer who is in charge. Yes, getting 4 kills should be an achievement, something they have to work for hard and even then not be guaranteed to get, but escaping should also be an achievement, and having everyone escape should be a rare thing that only luck and skill can pull off.
If you neuter killers, you take the atmosphere of the game away and this will degrade into a 2nd grade, asymmetric cat and mouse simulator.
Right now, DBD is this weird horror movie, where a mean looking guy jumps a bunch of teens in a house, the teens run him around for a bit, then tie him up, humiliate him, throw a party and leave him there to stew. (not all the time of course, but more often than it should be) - again, analogy, do not take it literally.

So, you know those half ot the Killer Playerbase? Only because someone is writing a Forum Post does not mean that they really gonna drop the game. Most of those posts are attention seeking. Like, fun fact - there was one guy on the Forums who said like 4 times that he will quit. And was still around.
And you can expect that more stuff on the Killer side gets nerfed, since the game is for both sides and if Killer is getting easier all the time, there will be some stuff which will be looked at (e.g. Devs talked about Bloodlust in their latest stream, even tho this is with a grain of salt, since they need to test it first to see that it will not result in Killers not being able to catch Survivors). Personally I doubt that Freddy or Spirit will stay the same, when they even add a Overheat-Mechanic (which, to be fair, does not matter at all) to Billy. Because thats how Balance works, the game becomes easier for one side and in return, some strong stuff which might have been ok 2 or 3 years ago is not ok anymore.

Playerbase decrease was not, for the majority, what you appear to believe it was due to.
Ruin is far more powerful and synergieses with many perks far better than it used to! Ruin used to always be cleansed very early and gave little to no benefit. Its far more powerful at slowing the game down provided you apply gen pressure. Any good survivors would just work through the original ruin regardless of pressure. Great skill checks arent hard after a small amount of time. Now, gen pressure is amazing!

B. Can still get completely bypassed my friend is a gem jockey and doesn't give a damn about ruin. He doesn't even notice ruin half the time. It's only good if ran with surveillance even then by time you get to the gen you can't stop it popping

The current killer meta is Ruin+Undying+Tinkerer. Ruin + Surveillance hasnt been meta for a long while.
Ruin no longer give a free reward to killers for just equipping it. You still have to push survivors off gens to get the benefit. If youre not even pushing survivors off gens for them to notice ruin (as you said happens with your friend) then, again, thats not a balance issue...

People don't want the game to be balanced. No one will admit it but they just want their side to have an easier time so they can win more games.
These forums do feel especially full of killer mains most of the time whining about how they aren't getting 4k's each game. They like Genji mains in Overwatch: REALLY good players that are just being held back by their team/survivors are just overpowered!

Decisive strike was used against Myers, when she was first caught so it was a lot stronger in the movies. To be honest, Laurie is an embarrassment in DBD, was far stronger in the movies.
