Releasing exclusive content just for stream viewers is the most UNFAIR thing ever. Some of us actually have a life and use our free time to PLAY THE GAME, not watching others do so...
Are you gonna release exclusive content just for non stream viewers too? How about if I actually don't like the streamers or youtubers of your choosing...?
Damn... I just found out about the Voodoo Dwight and it's quite an awful thing for an actual good cosmetic for my hooks to be "viewers exclusive"...

Worst part is that it's not like ONE code per streamer that works for one day, NO, it's MULTIPLE single try codes per streamer, it's just dumb...

To pad BHVR's numbers on twitch to possibly drive sales, but also to have positive metrics to show their shareholders since active players started to plummet due to fan response to the new Halloween Event.

I assume this is referring to the Dwightcrow charm. Yeah, the way that was handled was terrible, to say the least.

it is a neat thing to have streamers be able to give out codes, but it shouldn't be the only way. there are a LOT of valid reasons people can't/don't watch a streamer, and many of them love cosmetics. Gatekeeping exclusives via only one method is lame and frustrating.

Watch on of their streamers for x amount of hours to get the exclusives.
That was you wouldn't be forced to actively watch streames you don't like

I feel like the very least they could have done was run raffles and whoever enters can win and get their own personal code. Not this desperate dash to input a 50 character code before 10k other people do. They've done it before in Twitch chats so I'm not really sure why they couldn't do it again

You don't have to watch a livestream while you are at work, this game is popular enough that you could tune in to some international streamer while you are home.
A tip I can give to get the code is to look up who is a fog whisperer, and visit a streamer with less than 100 viewers. The codes are valid for 10 people, and these smaller streamers usually don't have many rotating viewers, so if you are patient you can get a code pretty simply, especially since they are being given out like candy.
I found a channel with 60 viewers at the time, and waited around 5 minutes for them to hand out a second code. Stuck around because I felt it would be a bit rude to just leave heh, but my point is you can get a code quick if you are willing to not visit someone like Tru3Talent or Otzdarva, they have thousands of viewers so of course it will be difficult to be first in line with them.

Sometimes i have a feeling that all player will get this charm at the end. There're many for whispers and they had (some of them still have) lots of codes (Puppers recently got 1500 codes more). 1 code works for 10 ppl, 1500=15000 charm users and it's only from him. We dont know how many of them were given but in total it will be enough for everybody, i guess

Honestly I'm a lot more salted that they discounted the new Halloween skins five seconds after we already paid for them, but they don't even have the good sense to discount the older skins so we can use our Iridescent shards on them.

I also play Sea of Thieves off and on and they do this ALOT. Granted they have watch for 30 minutes and that means I have the page up and if im busy I can adult away. They get their view and promotion and I get my loot. Might be better if they emulate that as you mentioned.
