Unable to Add PC friends on Xbox One

Me and a PC friend have tried adding each other using the new Crossfriends system that was recently added, however I am unable to accept the requests and I am unable to send my own Friend Requests to them from my Xbox. We have looked through our settings both on our Consoles/PC and the game itself but have found nothing that could be the source of the issue.

    Did your pc friend make a bhvr account and link it with their steam? If they did they cannot add anyone on crossplay currently. BHVR acknowledged that it's an issue on the boards but no eta on a fix. This was back near two weeks ago :/
