Need Help - DBD Keeps Bricking My PC Forcing Shutdown

hi. title says it all. as the newer updates have been coming out, my game has been freezing, ultimately bricking my entire PC and causing me to force shutdown, resulting in a DC + pip/rank loss. i'm 95% sure it's not my computer (i do have a gaming laptop, but that's besides the point) because this is the ONLY game that does this. i wonder if this is happening to anybody else. it happened just now, and i lost my rank </3


when going into event viewer, there doesn't seem to be any kind of error, just a "The unexpected shutdown on ___ was unexpected." there also isn't a crash log in my DBD files. is there anyone who can offer advice/help me? it'd be greatly appreciated!! :)


EDIT: event viewer had an Event ID #2 event and an Event ID #4311 6-10 minutes before the shutdown. not sure if that's correlated at all.
