The reason why this game cant have DC penalties...
It is filled with bugs. I do agree 100% that it does suck when you are a survivor and a teammate DCs and I do want some kind of penalty system in place but only after the devs can patch this mess of a game. I hop on tonight for some fun Halloween games. FIrst game- survivor gets stuck on hill and in the second game I am stuttering like crazy and cant even do chases because I start teleporting. And its not just me, the survivors I played against said they were having the same problem during the match. Just two days ago I had a match where the stupid grab glitch ruined my game. So this is my problem. Waiting for a stupid DC timer to end because I didn't want to endure this mess. Anyways, sorry for the rant but I needed to get this out since my halloween night is being pooped on so far.

All software has bugs, it is still not a reason to D/C. Sure will the game fail you at times just from a software point of view yes... yet no penalty will mean that people DC because they don't like the killer, the map, the first 3 gens pop to quick, they get downed first, etc. etc. and ruining the game for others. You are bashing the developers over nothing realistic, should they work on bugs, glitches and fix them... yes, is that a reason to allow people to DC willynilly no!

I would 100-percent agree with you if the bugs were the reason why people disconnected in the first place however that sadly not the case.
People usually disconnect because they get downed first.
Don't like a specific killer
Don't like specific map
Too many gens completed whilst they were chasing one Survivor
They felt like a hit was cheap
They don't like X perk
Don't like x add-on
Their perk didn't work (hex destroyed,Missed ds, downed before Deliverance activated)

Funny how these bugs only cause survivors to disconnect right after I down them or grab them from a locker. 🙄

I love how these people make up all these excuses for why we can't have DC penalties, yet 3k hours in I rarely ever see any of them.
Why not just admit you're a scumbag that wants to DC for any reason you can, freely, without punishment, and ruining the game for 4 other people, and you want to blame it on anything you can so you it's removed? At least you'd be believable then.
These bugs happen so rarely that when they do, well, maybe you eat a 5 min penalty. Get up and stretch your legs, then.

All software has its bugs yeah, and i hate dcing in general. However its becoming clear that this game is highly unstable and i find myself having a harder and harder time making excuses for bhvr not fixing this stuff

I have never seen another game where so many people defend their BS reason for dc'ing. If your one of those people who dc whenever something on this list occurs then why do you still play the game? I can't imagine you would get many matches that fit your requirements.

It can, it does, and it will continue to have them as long as people keep breaking the rules and disconnecting for silly reasons. The majority of DC are for people throwing tantrums, not real life emergencies and not the odd internet crash. Sort yourselves out and then come back and play.

You haven't been looking hard enough lol. I haven't seen a single game with a DC penalty where people haven't been complaining about it.

Not the DC penalty. I said I have yet to see a game where this many people DC and claim it is their right. Most other games I play people DC a lot but they dont make up some lame excuse to justify it. They admit they do it and move on.

And as I said, you're not looking hard enough. They use very similar talking points. Actually I don't think I've heard a single new one in dvd's case.

In all fairness, I'm perfectly fine when the killera ragequitting. But I'm not ok when teammates do it. At least die on the hook.

I don't agree with the statement that the game can't have the DC penalties. I think it should have them, no question. There are bugs, but most times you don't even experience them. The stuttering I can agree that is annoying, but not applying any DC penalties to anyone just opens the game to people DCing because they can and will do it for any stupid reason.
