PS4 L1 Running/Walking Bugged

For the past day or two I've noticed that randomly my survivor would no longer be able to run, as if the L1 trigger on my Dualshock was broken. Also, sometimes simply moving forward to walk my character would tip toe or not move at all. I thought could be my controller, but after doing some research I've read this has been an issue in the past after patches. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Yes I have had the same issue since October 29. I was going to post but then saw this. I tried 4 different controllers and all controllers work in other games. DBD characher stops running...or walking...really awful when being chased by the killer! I see you are on PS4 I'm on Xbox and same issue has to be the game.

    I just played Killer hag, freddy and scream and the killers stopped running as well. Might be a glitch in the left joystick as killer just moves from the joystick. Once more the 4 controllers work on other games :)
