Am I toxic
So I was playing a game and it was a face camping ghost face so I did what anyone would do and became a gen jockey. Got 3 gems done by myself and while on the 4th my last teammate got hooked (everyone was always going for saves) and I had hatch spawn next to me and I waited till he died and left, then was called toxic and trash by the killer and my teammates. Did I do something wrong?
edit: forgot to mention the killer and my teammates were all purple ranks and I was 18... I hate solo queue

No, you were the only one doing the smart thing. Facecampers want you to go for saves, and I don't understand why more people don't just do gens in those cases. You can get most of the gens done while one person is getting facecamped. It's not fun, but it's the best way to deal with it. If anything, your teammates are toxic, just as much as the killer is.

You did correct. If I get camped, the best thing I can see is someone doing Gens. And I hate those Survivors, who are crouching next to the Hook, because, you know, maybe the Killer will go away after he camped for 1 1/2 minutes.
Your Survivor Mates did not understand how to play against a Camper and the Killer was salty that he did not get a 4th Kill with his method. You did right.

You weren't toxic. I get so frustrated when I'm being camped and my teammates don't just focus on gens. The way they played encourage camping.

No, you were smart. The person on the hook probably simply wanted to get off the hook so they might be the one to get the hatch instead, and the killer is just mad you didn't offer yourself up to them on a silver platter.
