the fact that you can just get a surviver out of the game in seconds makes a boring game sometimes thay just have to focus on the suviver that got hooked im a killer mane and i thank that the moris that can only kill the last survivers are fair

You can eliminate someone within the first minute of the game with a first-hook Mori and most of the time that's a free win for the killer at that point. At least with keys, a few gens have to be done first to let more than one survivor out.

This doesn't mean keys shouldn't be adjusted tho, I believe both of them should be changed.

Key does not guarantee an escape, but mori guarantees you only have 1 hook for the entire game before you get pushed out of the match prematurely.

Both are op but I just say keys more because

    A. I'm a biased killer main

    B. Keys don't have to be brought in in order for them to be in play, moris of all kinds you have to bring in

    C. If the killer closes the hatch you can still jump in it

Both need a rework tho and soon. I don't even like moris and I'm a killer main.

Moris are stronger, which is also the reason why most people refrain from using them (as opposed to keys).

    Ebony: yes.

    Ivory: No.

    Cypress: Meme.

If we take total power of both skele/dull instead of individual power then keys would win but I only count max power vs Max power.

I hate there isn't a neither option. I feel it's overblown. I barely even see keys, especially moris

Honestly they're both the same. If you hook a survivor you can mori them and if you find the hatch you can use a key. They both just have a different function and requirement for it to work. Both of them just need a rework such as only being able to mori people on last hook and maybe changing the key into something else and the only thing that would change would be that it can't open hatch. Not a popular opinion but I personal like moris more just because of the visual that you get and I don't say that because I use them, I actually play survivor and rarely play killer and even when I do I don't use them because everyone gets so upset about it. Don't get me wrong though I know how aggravating it is to get tunneled and die to a mori at the beginning of the game but for me the visual makes the experience better.

Yes... you barely see them because most people realize they are OP and just refuse to bring them and hope their opponents do the same. Same with Iri head + infantry belt Huntress. They're broken, but people realize they're broken in a way that makes the game less fun... so they don't get used super often.

Honestly that's part of why I like this game... yeah there is brokenly OP stuff but for the most part everyone just kinda goes along with the gentlemen's agreement to not touch it. I mean I personally refuse to use any Mori above a Cypress, and the Cypress usually only comes out when I have a daily to mori someone.

I don't think you should've created this poll without a both being equal option.

As soon as a key is brought into the trial it can always have an opportunity to be used. Even if the killer kills 3 survivors including the key holder, the last survivor can still pick it up and use it themselves.

A mori can just be used to deliberately ruin someone's fun. If you choose to ruin one players fun then unless your a bad player your getting that kill. Mori's require a hook but the fact you can eliminate one survivor from the game in less than a minute is just too strong.

Both of these things are equal in being broken. I'm really hoping they nerf them both in the next chapter. I also hope they do it without telling us.

It’s important to qualify which mori. Yellow Moris are worthless, they need a buff. Green Moris are ok. Red Moris are overpowered.

Keys are mostly ok except for allowing multiple survivors to escape with a single use of a key. Two or three people escaping because of a single key is effectively a 12-17k point swing in the scores when you consider each escaping survivor gets 5k points they might not have gotten and the killer doesn’t get about 1000 points they might have gotten had they killed them. It’s fortunately a rare occurrence but when it does happen it’s huge!

Red Moris are more consistently swingy and overpowered in comparison. Survivors can recover from one kill one hook early but two early kills one hook early each is pretty much game over. These need a nerf.

both are OP but I can't really say which is more OP

How can you compare that. every killer, which is "one" will vote for "one" key. And "four" survivors vote "four" times on mori.

The old mori was op. The new one isnt, since you have to get a single person at least twice. It would be "comparable" at least if there was an animation for "unlocking the hatch".

For a hatch escape you literally have to do nothing. I escaped with 9000 (!) points at a time. You do the math what i might have done in this game.

I can't say agree and I hate this whole "gentleman's code" crap. The developers need to do a better job in implementing their ideas so players could use whatever they please. If it's up to the players then you've done a poor job. Even if these tools are used on me, It never bothered me. Mori means I have to take the match seriously and not get caught. Key means I have to pay extra attention to you and even burn a mori to eliminate you from the game or use Franklin's. Hell, you could only use moris once, you could possibly keep your key.

But that's just me. Maybe they will alter them in a way that please both parties.

Moris are basically the equivalent of Toolboxes / BNP.

The Killer equivilant to a Key would be taking a Survivor who has already escaped the trial, cancelling their escape and killing them.
