The spirits power has to many downsides

Downsides are scratch marks are delayed, can't see survivors, insanely long cool down, blood doesn't show, easily countered by running backwards on your own scratch marks, long casting time, the sound of her in phase walking is very loud survivors can hear from a mile away. 7 downsides for increased movement speed and invisibility she's basically a female Billy that's blind without the instadown...

    It's ridiculous the devs say killers can be trash and not viable if they're fun too play and play against but how is it fun to play a weak killer that can't do #########? Survivors have so much power it's a joke to call this an assymetrical game.

    Im playinng her and im having a Blast! At Rank 1 im using Predator, Ruin, Haunted Grounds and Make Your Choice. I think that i may change Haunted Grounds for Whispers once i get it, right now MOST of the time survivors instantly break my Ruin as soon as the match starts (yes, 9 out of 10 matches they find the Ruin instead of Trapped Totem).

    Im not here to make a guide, but she is waaaay more powerful than u think, try using these perks and with extra skill added, maybe u will see what im talking about...

    She's just difficult to use, but get good with her and you'll do great.

    I agree with OP, but I'll need to do further testing to be completely sure. However, I will say that if her power can't help her during a chase (I mean a chase with a heavy looper who drops a pallet and then leaves; not a chase with a Survivor who just hangs around every pallet waiting for your next move), she needs to move at 115% speed, period.

    I will test her for another 30-40 hours (I tested her for 30 hours in PTB), and will make up my final thought about her, but I do not think I will change it - she is very weak.

    I will say I'm getting alot of 4ks but that's with every single killer at release just wait until survivors adapt she'll probably be worse than Freddy I'm betting I just had 1 game where my power was completely useless because survivors were running backwards on their scratch marks or just stopped running I mindgame myself every single time.

    Agree with OP. Every killer with lower move speed must rely on their power for hits and her power is just too unreliable with all the downsides. She either needs base killer move speed or some decently large buffs to her ability to make it more reliable.
