Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Killers should be able to push survivors out of the way.

Let's talk about body blocking. Body blocking, in my opinion, is stupid. I don't think that survivors should not be able to take a hit for each other, that is fine, but when I am trying to down someone I injured but can't because his friend is blocking the path, that is kind of dumb So how does letting survivors push survivors out of the way fix things? Simple. It does not take away the ability to take a hit for someone else, as the killer has to get close in order for them to shove the survivor out of the way, but it also stops the survivors from being able to force killers to hit them. If you are wondering why I hate body blocking so much, it is because it is a tactic that is way to easy to pull off in SWF and is way to effective when used.

EDIT: Except when someone is body blocking to a killer from hooking someone. That is fine, and I have no issues with that.

Body blocking for injured or tunneled teammate is absolutely fine. Deal with it.

I mean, if we're playing that game, nothing should stop someone like David from beating the crap out of some of these Killers. :P

I think if a survivor is body blocking a killer it shouldn't force the killer to go around. They should be able to be moved slightly, but as it stands a survivor can block a corner and the killer has to go around. They should be nudgeable, but not to the pount where you could easily push a survivor into a corner

I think that the Killer side should have access to tools that can counter any tactic survivors can do, but they can't use all of them. I also think that survivors should be able to share information they know better without being in a SWF. The job of the survivors is to adapt to what ever the killer brings, and the job of the killer is to react to what ever the survivors do. I don't think it should be base kit, but I do think there should be a perk that counters body blocking.

Yeah, that is the idea. My idea behind it was that you could body block to prevent a lunge, but if the killer is right next to you they can still hit their intended target.

I now have the mental image of David just wrestling Legion. Not a member of Legion, every member of the legion. And he is still winning.

Body blocking is a great strategy. Not calling you out or anything here, but imagine someone who just tunnels the ######### out of people for absolutely no reason at all, just to be a dick. Now the only way to stop that person from breaking they keyboard is to try taking hits for them. This removes that. Also, in the end game when theres 2 or 3 survivors left and you have just rescued one from the hook or one is injured at the end and running to an open exit gate. Why shouldn't they teammates take hits for them to ensure that they get out? After all, thats the survivors objective. They want to get their team out. If the killer has let the survivors open the gates then the survivors do everything in their power to get through those gates. Maybe a perk where you can move a survivor would be kind of acceptable, but even then its still just kinda wrong to me. It just removes the teamwork aspect of a chase. This would just make chasing 2 survivors at once completely unfair on the survivors.
