Graphics updates.

So with the upcoming graphics update for Ormond and Autohaven, that makes it 5 maps already that have had their graphics recently updated. And thus this raises the obvious question: have you liked the graphics updates so far?

I'm asking this question because, overall, I really like how they have improved the graphics for the structures and the textures, but there's this particular thing that I don't really like and it's that all the maps have turned kinda grey-ish if that makes sense? MacMillan used to be the blue map for example, but now it's more grey than blue. And I kinda liked the fact that each map (or at least most of them) has its own specific color, lol.

So yeah, what's your opinion regarding the recently updated maps?

I believe there was a similar poll to this one, talking about the "tint" of each map. And I agree that, for example, MacMillan being blue-ish kinda gave the realm its own personality.

Imo, it was *too* blue for my liking, but completely removing it wasn't what I wanted either.

Aside from tints, and maybe some performance issues, I do like the graphics overhaul in each realm so far. I just hope they all don't end up looking the same in terms of colours or ambience.

The breakable walls are a bit unnecessary in certain spots. Love the new graphics tho.

Sanctum of Wrath was already bad before, but it's actually terrible now. Other than that I'm either neutral or positive on all of the new maps. I could do without the breakable wall mechanic, but that's not a very big deal to me.

They are an unessecary performance hit in may opinion. Games are not about looks, but about gameplay.

They went excessive with breakable walls and scratch marks are more difficult to track these days. The maps look great, but play like trash.

I still don't play Yamaoka, to hell with them.

I agree with this a lot. I used to love the blue tint, now it just looks grey and boring. And unlike the Autohaven update, they didn't introduce anything new into the Macmillan maps, they just changed the appearance of what was already in them and called it a day.

Autohaven might be the update I like the most, because they kept the green tint and also added all that junk & random stuff that makes it look more like an actual junkyard. It looks amazing imo.

I also have to agree with what most of y'all have said about the breakable walls. I am not against breakable walls per se, but some of them are a bit unnecessary -and some maps have just too many of them. I'm also not fond of those fake windows that they introduced in some Macmillan maps.
