Could it be L4D Witch?
Sound from the teaser sounds kinda similar to the "witch before kill" sound from the L4D witch
Could be? Who knows might just be a coincidence but I think there's an eerie similarity. What do you guys think? Do they sound similar or is it just a coincidence?
One other thing is the hand looks like it could be the witch's. In this picture you can see the witch's hands, compare them to the teaser and see if you think they look alike:
The arm connected to the hand in the teaser also looks pale and skinny which would fit with it being the witch. I can't tell clearly if there are claws on the teaser hand or not since we don't get a very good look.
I also listened to the music that plays briefly at the end of the teaser and music related to the witch but I didn't notice any obvious similarities unless I just missed it. So overall the looks of the arm and some of the sounds are similar but the music is not from what I can tell. At this point I'm still not sure who/what the killer is but I just wanted to lay out all the similarities to witch for people to consider in the midst of all the wendigo theories. If you guys notice any other similarities that I didn't then definitely let me know

I think it's the Wendigo from Until Dawn. The snowy background really fits to me.

Listen to the theme at the end of the teaser and the theme of the witches theme it sounds really close but the only thing is would Dead by Daylight put in a zombie character before Resident Evil Left 4 Dead is pretty big on Xbox and PC so maybe

I thought about it too! It has been my first thought

The claws aren't nearly as pronounced, despite how blurry the arm is you'd be able to tell with claws as big as the witches. Not to mention the figure in the trailer sounds a lot like they're running on all 4s, which the witch doesn't do.

But they are chasing a survivor the light footsteps could be the survivor running and the heavy footsteps are rapid
I had a closer look in the background it does look like snow particles are in the back so maybe Until Dawn maybe Left 4 Dead.

The heavy footsteps go in a beat of four, the light footsteps go in a beat of two. Meaning the assailant has two extra legs or is running on all 4s. Or someone on the sound team messed up.
The snow particles seem to mean the teaser is taking place in Ormand, which is getting a graphical update. An Until Dawn Wendigo is possible, but I'd say the Rake or an OC is the most likely candidate.

I sincerely doubt it's a witch or wendigo or anything like that for a number of reasons. First off both those creatures have a very prominent feature that this one is missing. Big ass claws. This things hand looked pretty much normal other than being all grey and crap and there were definitely not claws. As for "Wendigo" you gotta remember that BHVR would be dealing with sony. Call me crazy but I have trouble buying sony would allow a license to a game they hold exclusive rights to especially with no marketing buildup. I mean they won't give up Bloodborne for gods sakes what makes you think they'll let Until Dawn go. As for the witch, see first argument. More than likely this is an OG character. (Also it's worth mentioning that there has never been a licensed killer with a short teaser like this, they generally have big reveals for marketing purposes.)

Claws aren't nearly long enough, and its not liscened.
