Steam/PC got no points or notification for map tracking at all on Red Forest

During a game on Red Forest i brought a red map with a range and +5 seconds addons, at the start of the game there were no default gens tracked, only hooks and for the duration of the game i wasn't getting any map tracking points. i also don't think gens were being scouted at all as i never saw any on the map despite running past them many times. and at the end of the game neither of the gates were tracked either.
this has only happened the once just now but i will update with the next game.
