Getting disconnected while loading into matches!

PS4

This issues has been happening for 2 days. Whenever I try and play dbd, it kicks me out of the match when I’m loading in saying “You have been disconnected from the host”. I then get sent back to the main screen (where you can choose to be killer, survivor, etc.) saying “An unknown error occurred”. Every. Match. I’ve been wanting to grind shards, but now I can’t because of dbd deciding it doesn’t want to cooperate. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you.

EDIT: I think I’ve found out this may be due to a faulty hard drive on my PS4. I can’t even load into a custom game with my sister 😅. I will update if I do end up fixing this issue.

    Have you tried turning off VPN? it worked for me

    I’m not really sure how to do that lol. I’ve been thinking it’s something to do with my hard drive, since I have been experiencing lag in other games like gta and dark souls. Heck, I even reset my whole PS4 just for the issue to get worse. My birthday is coming up soon so I’ll hopefully be able to get a new hard drive with the money. Only had the PS4 less that a year. Swing low, sweet chariot for my bday money 😅

    It's been happening to me for about 2 weeks now, seems to be only when I am in a SWF party. It's almost ever 2nd match. We play and the one not in our party disconnects and it kicks us out. And then we recue. I'm hoping for a fix soon cause we spend more than 1/2 the night in lobbies.
