Current Forum Mods: "Do you like DbD?"
Me: "I like DbD!"
FM: "Are you an adult that is willing to discuss basically everything DbD at various times throughout the day?"
Me: "Yes...and yes."
FM: "Maybe you'd like to join our Mod team..."
Me (excitedly): "YES!!! I can totally do this!!"
FM: (lists other requirements I'm good with...): "Also, you have to be nice."
Me: "*sigh* Never mind."

Right? I mean I kind of get the potential logic behind it (guarentee the Mod is legally old enough to play the game from drop date or maybe as some form of "employment" restrictions or something similar) but damn that is a goodly chunk of fanbase eliminated out of the gate.

Honestly not really sure why the age restriction is 21. As far as I'm aware, Canada (like the US) uses the ESRB rating system, which requires an individual to be 17+ to be able to legally purchase M-Rated games like DbD. Plus I'm pretty sure the equivalent mature rating for other countries' rating systems (like PEGI and RARS) is only marginally higher at 18+.
Guess you need to be of legal drinking age (in the US) to be a Community Moderator? Or more realistically, I'm probably just forgetting something important on the business end of things that would be blatantly obvious to anyone a little more business-savvy than me.
