What Exactly Can The Blight Or Oni Do Better Than Hillbilly?

Title, I've been picking up killer more recently and my friend recommends I play Blight or the Oni. I've tried each of these characters and besides blight in certain aspects it just seems to me Billy is all around the better killer.

But hey there's plenty of you out there that understand killer alot better than me. Please feel free to enlighten me.

Oni can straight up run the loop with the survivor while in his power if someone takes the time to master his ability, he's a very slept on killer that alot of people don't realize how strong he is, they try him once or twice and then get frustrated and drop him but in my tier list he's right on the same level as billy due to how much snowball potential his power has and how fluid he can turn corners while using it

Oni’s power is absolutely better than Hillbilly, but he does not Always have it like Bill.

Hillbilly seems to be underrated right now though. I’d agree with that premise.

Oni can snowball more effectively than Hillbilly at the cost of not having his power at the start. Blight just runs fast. That's it.

for Oni its definitely the flick at the end of his Demon Dash.

him having a 180° flick window (90° to each side) is very strong and allows him to manoeuvre through a lot more loops than billy ever could - also he doesnt get stunned when running into sthg.

for Blight i'd say its his ability to slam into things and then basically do billies chainsaw dash (without the oneshot) multiple times quickly in a rown, always being able to adjust the direction he wishes to go into. this allows for a lot more mobility in tighter spaces and can give him a hit on many tiles billy struggles to keep up.

In my opinion. I prefer hillbilly over both. I think a 1 hit down and map pressure is very useful. I always use my chainsaw to be everywhere in seconds. The only time I walk is when im in a chase at a loop I can’t use my chainsaw in.

With enough experience you can use your chainsaw in multiple loops. Sure Oni can get easier hits but it’s limited by not always having the power and once you pick up a survivor the power is done.

Hillbilly isn’t much harder to aim his chainsaw. I find it easier than Oni actually but I’m on console so that could be a factor.

As far as blight. I’m on console so he’s very difficult with the low FPS and joystick aiming.

Both those Killers can effectively down more consistent around loops than Billy can, a good Billy will still be able to curve and down basic survivors around loops but once you get high caliber survivors Billy just becomes M1 Killer with some map Mobility, also the fact that they nerfed his add-ons and gave his chainsaw a limit means he can no longer snow ball as hard as Oni and Blight can, there's really no reason to pick Billy over Blight in Comp play and that's mainly due to the fact that once you play vs higher skilled survivors you just can't do the cool stuff you used to be able to do.

Oni has the best snowball potential in the game, far better than Billy, and he also has inbuilt (if pretty bad) tracking. His power, when he gets it, is pretty much what Billy wanted to be when he grew up. Blight has the amazing mix of constant mobility and chase potential, both easily better than Billy when going against the best survivors. No inbuilt instadown doesn't matter when he can potentially get hits at every maze tile with his power or immediately follow up on an m1, not exactly something Billy is known for. He also hard counters Hold-W.

But it isn't like they are leagues apart. The three of them are some of the best killers in the game, and who you play is down to you.

Blight have infinitely better mobility then billy due to billy's overheating and that's without any of blights escalating speed add-ons that just make blight flat out faster then pre-gutting Billy ever could dream of being.

Also if you miss with blight you get less of a self stun then with billy and bumping into walls doesn't make you lose your power(For an obvious reasons) making blight ironically less punishing to misuse then current billy in a lot of cases.

In terms of power availability: Billy > Blight > Oni

In terms of power versatility: Blight > Oni > Billy

In terms of power threat (and snowballing capability): Oni > Billy > Blight

They're all fun killers. I think it just comes down to what you value in their abilities.

I personally enjoy having my power more readily available with Blight and Billy. But I also like that I don't get lots of dumb game-performance problems with Billy and Oni on console (though Blight has the most satisfying power to hit survivors with out of the 3).
