Plague bugged?

I know dedicated severs messed up this killer pretty bad. But when I play her the survivors make the sick animation and nothing happens to them. When I hit them with corrupted purged they make the injured sound effect but nothing happens this is happening way to frequently to be a server issue. If any plague mains still exist does this happen to you?
