Boring = excuse to nerf things. But No, you don't want to nerf him you'll just complain ad nauseam about him and how Boring he is hoping the devs do something about it but that's not a "nerf".
If your only true argument against him is he's boring in chase people shouldn't listen to you about balancing.

I mean, the less Deathslinger players there are that aren't self aware of his problems, the better...
but don't let anyone verbally stop you from playing how you desire. I get tons of salt for playing Huntress and liking to slug, and it really doesn't phase me. In fact, the more dcs, the more I am entertained (this is not to condone dc-ing tho).

I don't really care about the hate that much. I'm gonna play the killer I wanna play and I'm not gonna let someone tell me otherwise lol. I would call him an unhealthy killer in a way of, no matter how balanced you make him, he's still gonna be very unfun to play against because of what his power plays as, but he still has counters like not just holding W or pre dropping a pallet. There are definitely worst killers out there that people should be worrying about.

I play on PS4 so I just turn off the messages. That was the best thing I’ve ever done. Too bad it affects other games. Some messages on other games are funny to get from how angry people get.

I don't really think he is over powered he has a slower speed just like every other ranged killer I mean I don't play him just because i'm not good at aiming. but it does seem upsetting that people are getting bullied out of playing Deathslinger. play whoever you please I play wraith and 4 K most of the time and get hate when i'm using yellow add ons so its probably just bad sportsmanship.

Lets say a very common situation, you are just about to turn a corner and he fires where you would go, but you dodge. That is you predicting correctly and winning a mindgame, NOT him "missing".
Also, it takes him 0.15 seconds to ads, then the travel time. Nowhere near a 60th of a second.

people seem to think you have to strafe for miles to 'avoid' the spear, when in reality it's literally just a jump to the left.
And back on the main topic: Recently saw a friend muse about stopping to play deathslinger over the hate they are (not were, are) getting just for playing him. including some ahole making burner accounts to harass them on twitch and twitter...
but according to some people this stuff don't happen

He's still missing. Not everyone would shoot there, so it's a literal guess, and he'll probably still hit you because his hitbox is bs anyway. The 60th of a second was very obvious hyperbole as well.

you could argue that juking a killer is the same mechanic, thus no killer has counterplay as they are also 'just missing' their hits

Do people still actually get salty over this though? I remember getting a lot of hate with OG freddy back in the day but I don't really get hate anymore.
Sure, there are some killers I hate but I'm not going to mock them for playing that killer, I mean, if its Freddy I'll acknowledge the crutch but I'll keep it to myself.

I don’t find Deathslinger particularly fun, but he’s alright.
There’s much worse: Onis, Freddy, Spirit, Phead.
