What if the Entity's realm is a twisted version of heavan?
So how can a place of endless torment and agony be heaven? Ok so hear me out, and this may also explain why survivors don't gear up despite the abundance of improvised weapons and numbers advantage.
They like it. The entity picks people who are addicted to the thrill of being hunted, addicted to the fight or flight adrenaline.
And the killers simply delight in the anticipation of the hunt, the thrill of the chase and the rush of the kill. Its a symbiotic relationship that the entity is the chief benefactor of! The survivors don't fight back because deep down, in the furthermost core of their mind, they don't want to. They are addicted to being prey. Their version of heavan is going on a heart-pounding dangerous adventure over and over and over again!

there's one problem with that theroy.
if survivors enjoy being hunted down, how can the Entity feed on their hope? not to mention that the survivors will eventually become emotionless shells and end up in the Void, so I'm sure they are suffering and not enjoying it.
I mean, I do understand some people in who would like to fight, but there are many others who seemed scared in this realm.

It's an interesting theory, but I think it's true only for some. For example in Bill's lore it explicitly says all he ever wanted was an enemy to fight, so he probably enjoys the realm.
Others like Jake or Laurie just have a very strong survival instinct, so they don't care in what situation they are, they just want to survive somehow.
I'm not sure when it was changed, but it's now knowledge that the Entity doesn't feed just off hope, but any strong emotions.

If anything it would be a purgatory/limbo. Never ending pain and agony is literally what a purgatory/limbo is.

or like saw the entity just wants a show

You shouldn't project your experience as a player for this. There is no sane person would enjoy being killed time and time again. It's not how it works.

maybe they never die

My experience is I am addicted to the thrill of the hunt! An never-ending rotation of prey! There for me whenever I feel like it!

Bill doesn't enjoy it, its more of a "The only thing he knows" kind of thing. I could hate being a construction worker, but at bills age you don't exactly have any other path you can take. At least in the entity's realm he can help others escape while he's at it.
