This has been a confusing issue (sorry I'm not familiar with the whole entitlements things with consoles). It's an issue that I believe is now resolved and you should be able to have access to the DLC's

It's weird, because dlc I previously purchased for the ps4 version are now purchasable again for 0,25€ in the ps5 store. But for my friend with a different psn country they were all free.

I have the Nightmare edition on PS4, retail version, but on PS5 i can't access at all add on incuded in that version, there is a way to transfer that content to PS5 version?

I've heard there was a dispute with licensing and freddy is currently in limbo , his perks are accessible on ps5 but not the character at the moment is what I've been hearing from multiple people

Nightmare on Elm Street DLC was added to PS5 when the last Chapter released.

I don't know the specifics but in some markets, they can't offer totally free content so they have to charge a small amount. This has to do with the law in that region.

The Nightmare DLC was released on PS5 on the same day as Binding. I'm not sure about any other editions of the game that come bundled with various DLC. If there was an upgrade version eligible, it would be in the PlayStation Store in the PS5 section. So I would go there, look up Dbd and if you have a version that's eligible for free upgrade then you would see the option to purchase at no or low cost.

Maybe I explained myself wrong, The Nightmare edition is not the add on of Freddy Krueger but the disc version that included The stranger things, Curtain Call, Shattered Bloodline chapters. So with the PS5 version I can't access those contents because they are physically on the disc forcing me to have both versions installed, absurd. Isn't there a way to get the account to recognize that you have that content even if it resides on a PS4 copy and play it on PS5?

Has this ever been resolved? I have the Dead by Daylight Nightmare Edition disk for PS4. The PS4 version works fine on the PS5 console but when I try to play the PS5 version, the Stranger Things content like Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington are grayed out and I can't access them. Also, Adam Francis is grayed out too. I don't understand why since he's not part of the Stranger Things DLC. I looked through all the posts here but I couldn't find a viable solution. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thank you for your response, Nicholas. It doesn't seem like I have access. I am missing the following survivors: Steve, Nancy, Kate, and Adam. I am missing the following killers: the spirit, the clown and the demigorgon. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

The problem is the following chapters are included on the disc: Curtain Call, Shattered Bloodline, and Stranger Things. So there was no way to gain access to those on the PS5 version, until now! Visit https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407009238036-I-purchased-the-physical-Nightmare-Edition-of-Dead-by-Daylight-on-PS4-will-I-still-have-access-to-the-characters-after-the-removal- for more information about the resolution. So glad Behaviour is resolving this for those impacted. Update the thread when it gets resolved.

i had the same issue, have you tried going to the dlc screen and "buying" them again? it will be free. worked for me and i got back all the characters i had bought after i individually claimed them

Hey, is this true? I just submitted a ticket. I really want my ST chapter back but support told me not to re-purchase anything. I want to buy skins before they disappear in November!!!
