Why even play the game?
So I just had a match where it was a 4-man SWF on Ormond and an all start together offering, using all toolboxes, BNP, Prove Thyself along with No Mither and Resilience. The first gen was done in 20 seconds. I am not joking here. I spawned in, and the gen was done before I could even reach it, let alone even cross halfway to the gen in question. They then proceed to literally rush every gen they can find. Anytime I hooked someone, someone else divebombs hook or flashlights me to stop me getting another hook, sided with DS. The match was over in 3 minutes. What the hell is the point of even playing if you're going to play like this? At what point was that fun? Seriously, I'm curious to know why anyone plays like this. And before any survivor mains get all up in arms about 'Gen rush isn't a thing', what the hell would you call this?!

welp, that sounds like the equivalent to an Iridescent Head + Infantry Belt + 1st hook Mori Huntress.
dont worry about it too much, there isnt a whole lot you could have done there.

Trust me, I was tempted to slug, but I hate slugging personally. Kinda wish I did, but there just seemed to be no hope in doing that either.
Pretty much. It was possibly one of the worst matches I've ever had to play. And I was Deathslinger. Map pressure just wasn't on the tables for me.

Your saying this but in 2-3 weeks Ormond is getting a complete redo. Which was probably the whole issue ormond is pretty stupid at times.

I ask survivors all the time how do they do it. A genrushing SWF is not fun. A solo bloodbath is not fun either. There is no middle ground. Devs have a lot of work to do, unless players somehow think this is fun. I don't.

I'm in the same boat. If I somehow manage to down everyone before even a single gen is done, I'll let one of them wiggle free and get rescues and give them a chance. Sure, winning is fun, but obliterating someone in 10 seconds isn't my idea of fun.

I play cuz toxicity is genuinely good in DBD:
- As killer you can show survs who is the boss: slug til die, torture on hook, facecamping, nod head, give hatch lies, tornado...
- As surv you can abuse some killers following you as pro looper, hook bodyblocking, head on, DS, pointing...
DBD is for funz as it is for toxicity
