A Possible Hidden Potential for Visionary?

While looking through the generator aura reveal perk, I noticed something interesting. Both Déjà vu and Detective’s Hunch require a generator to be completed. Visionary however, does the opposite, it deactivates when a generator is completed. Now I understand why this perk is considered bad, why would you want to be punished for progressing? But I realized a way that makes this perk viable

It can counter Discordance

Think about this scenario. You’re doing a gen, you see your teammate walk towards you. You know the killer has Discordance but you haven’t explored the map enough to know where all the other gens are and looking for a different gen without a person on it might waste your time. With Visionary, you get to see where the gens are and the best part? Since you’re running away from that gen you’re doing, it’s not repaired yet meaning Visionary will still be active until your teammate is done with their gen.

One of the advantages of Discordance is to make it so both Survivors and Killers can scare a Survivor off a gen and waste their time. If you can remove the time-wasting side-effect which is pretty dangerous while still allowing you to deny Discordance's activation, doesn't that make Visionary a counter? Even if it deactivates, at least you get to know that you’re not the one who triggered Discordance.

Has anyone thought of this yet?
