Worst map for killers hands down
So this morning I was playing as Pyramid Head and got sent to Haddonfield. I mostly main Freddie get 4k pretty routinely, but this map is my Achilles heel. I got maybe one hook through the whole match. This isnt just a bad game I had, this map has always been this way too me. Just continual loops through the house out the window then dash for other constant loop with the cars in the street. I don't go on chases very long if i can tell if it's a lost cause but there's just so many places survivors can just loop around like soon as they see me immediately to a forever loop they run. I give credit to survivors for playing and escaping but Haddonfield needs something done or just alot of killers arent meant for that map. What do you all think?

Nah,it's pretty much that way because most survivors are just really really bad.
(Not that i don't think freddy could use some adjustments,but that is not the point of this thread)

Almost everyone knows that Haddonfield is a horribly designed map that needs major changes

Haddonfield is decent for teleporting killers (Hag, Freddy, Nurse). And alright for stealth killers (Ghost Face, Pig, Deathslinger and Wraith).
Everyone else has a really hard time

Just kidding. Yeah Haddonfields pretty awful. I played Plague on there the other day against a SWF with an Object of Obbsession and it was one of the most tiliting matches I've had in a long time. They're on the other side of a house that you can't enter? They'll be long, long gone by the time you get around or they'll be on the long side of one of those awful, awful fences (that I managed to get a Doctor to quit because of the other day, myself).
The worst part is I got a 3K. But if they had just left out the exit gate when it was opened I would have got 1 maximum. So it was a very hollow victory. I basically got outplayed exclusively by 1 dude having Object and keeping tabs on me for the whole game. Doesn't feel good when you end a match with kills you shouldn't have gotten against otherwise decent survivors.

It's those god damn fences. It feels awful seeing a survivor over one of those short fences and knowing full well you can't hit them and you're going to be looped around them with nary a single pallet for upwards of half a gen if the loop is big enough and theres an open house nearby.

You think stealth killers have an ok time on Haddonfield? Against potatoes maybe.

The Haddonfield houses and tall fences block LOS for Survivors on a lot of the generators so stealth Killers can use their lack of Terror Radius to get free hits.
Because of that. It’s a pretty average map for stealth Killers. There are plenty of more open maps where they’d have a much worse time because Survivors can see them coming a mile away

Ormond is no longer the go to map for survivor's so it's gonna be Haddonfield for a while, but I think along with Coldwind Haddonfield is next on rework maps.

I have no problem with Haddonfield as an assassin, I actually earn a lot on that map along with gideon and springwood

Badham is at least playable, although some loops are just ridiculously asinine.
Haddonfield has insane loops, even without the fences. It's just ridiculous how awful it is and how easy survivors have it there. The only times I win there is because survivors make grave mistakes or I sweat my balls off to predict what side they'll land at through these semi-God windows in some houses. Not to mention that basement house with six different super-loops. Yeah, no, it baffles me that McMillan and Yamaoka had re-designs before this piece of crap map.

If I'm trapper I actually like Haddonfield because certain rooftops can be trapped and they cannot be disarmed without stepping in them. The maps I hate are Mother's Dwelling because of it's sheer size and Hawkins because I don't know where anything is.

I don't play Huntress much but when I do I get this map for some reason. Yeah it's bad. Nurse with all her bugs not a great Nurse map, or Bubba with all the houses. But Hag, Trapper can handle the map pretty good and perhaps Wraith, Pig.

I don't like a lot of the maps. Azarov's Resting Place is the worst one in my opinion. It's 2 sides of the same coin in that getting 3-genned as survivor is a guaranteed loss, and not 3-genning as killer is a guaranteed loss.
