Game not recognising disconnects, ruining games
Just played as a killer on Saloon.
got a great start, and with 2 gens left I see a Steve on his death hook jump in a locker during a chase. He tries to bait a hit, and exits. I grab him. He instantly disconnects.
the game doesn’t recognise he disconnects. His icon says he’s in the fame injured, I walk slower, can’t break pallets, damage gens. I can’t use any abilities. If i approach a hook, it says hook but nothing happens. Steve is making noises non stop on my back.
ok. So I have to slug for a win. So I down the remaining 2 people. Then I realise, end game won’t spawn as it thinks the Steve is alive. Can’t close hatch, because Steve is on my back.
I guess Steve was still on my back visually, as a Feng worked out if she entered the locker there was nothing I could do. Couldn’t open it.
ended up having to disconnect despite killing all 4 survivors, take a -1 when I had an easy +2, and lost 100k bloodpoints.
was on Xbox series x vs cross players.
