When does Talbot Grimes transform into The Blight?

From tome 1's The Hunger cinematic, we see Talbot Grimes inject himself in the middle of the woods, presumably turning into The Blight. But in the chapter 17 teaser trailer we see Talbot inject himself in front of Father Campbell's chapel, presumably turning into The Blight there. But then in the official chapter 17 trailer we see Talbot inject himself inside of the chapel, turning into The Blight. BUT in tome 5's Doors Unknown cinematic, we see the Entity do some...shenanigans, and turn Talbot into the True Blight. So when did Talbot Grimes turn into The Blight?

Perhaps all of these times? Maybe he eventually regresses back to his human form and has to inject himself over and over.

This is the most likely answer.

The Blight's been described by BHVR as their take on the classic Jekyll and Hyde scenario, so it does make sense, in some strange way, that Talbot becomes the "True Blight" first, wreaks havoc for the Blighted period of the Entity's yearly life cycle, then regresses back into his original survivor self despite the mutilation his body underwent. His mind, however, is pretty much cracked beyond any feasible repair because as seen in the Descend Beyond cinematic, he sticks himself with the serum AGAIN despite what he went through beforehand, but yields less grotesque results. It's possible he can be saved, especially if we take the Jekyll and Hyde comparison literally.
