Don't be afraid of the dark chapter idea. Feedback is greatly encouraged!

KILLER

Name: The Fae Swarm

Description: A swarm of small imp-like creatures called the Tand-Fé (or Tooth Faeries). They are mostly light gray except for a larger glowing one near the top of the swarm. This is the Tand-Fé queen, organizing the swarm through their hive mind (she signifies the "face" for flashlight purposes). There are 2 weapons swirling around in the swarm; a box cutter and an ice pick. These weapons alternate with every attack

Height: Tall

speed: 110%

Terror radius: 32 meters

Mori: The swarm slices the achilles tendon of the survivor with the box cutter. The survivor falls forward and then rolls over, and the swarm immediately stabs through their hand with the ice pick, pinning it to the ground. The Fae then swarm the survivors face, afterwards revealing a dead, toothless scream with blood running out of their mouth and pooling around their head.

~Powers~

Passive power - Fae ambush: Vaulting windows, opening lockers, and damaging generators will apply Fae ambush on the object. The next survivor to interact with that object has the Fae transfer to them, with a max of 4. If a survivor with 4 Fae on them triggers an ambush, the survivors action will be interrupted and they immediately have a "swat" skillcheck with no delay.

(Fae ambush notes: max of 1 per object. The Fae are visible, with one on either side of the object, but they are small and somewhat difficult to see. They can be driven away with a flashlight. count as traps for perk purposes)

Active power - Swarm mode: Pressing the power button for 2 seconds will initiate swarm mode for 15 seconds with a 20 second cooldown. You vault Windows at survivor speed and attach a Fae soldier automatically every 3 seconds when within 4 meters of survivors, lockers, generators, and windows. You can not attack or pick up survivors during swarm mode and there is a 4 second fatigue after it ends. The power button can be pressed to cancel the power, refunding a proportional percentage of the cooldown

(Swarm mode notes: Fae attachment gives priority to survivors. Trapped objects are unaffected. Survivors with 4 Fae attached are unaffected. Survivors can stun the killer out of swarm mode with a flashlight, pallet, or perks but they get a proportional power cooldown refund. During the 2 seconds it takes to activate swarm mode, the killer is slowed by 10%)

Attached Fae: Each Fae applies 2.5% hindered to the survivor, reduces repair speed by 4%, and causes a buzzing noise that drowns out other sounds by 15%

Swatting: Survivors can stop moving to get the option to "swat" at Fae on them with the interact button if they do not have deep wound. Survivors receive a madness skillcheck every 2-3 seconds that they hold the interact button. Failed skill checks cause the survivor to scream and applies the deep wound status effect.

(Swatting notes: survivor must stop moving for 1.5 seconds to get the option to swat. Successful skill checks remove a Fae and allow the survivor to continue making skill checks or release the interact button before the next skillcheck to stop swatting)

~Perks~

Flurry - You start the trial with an obsession.

If your obsession is put into the dying state within 30/25/20 seconds of becoming injured, the entity prevents you from picking them up for 20 seconds.

When you hit a survivor with a basic attack, if you are blind or if the survivor has endurance, that attacks cool down is reduced by 40%/50%/60% (does not stack) and that survivor becomes your obsession.

Nighteyes - breaking a pallet within 4/6/8 seconds of it being dropped reveals the aura of the person who dropped it for 3 seconds after you finish the break animation

From below - when a survivor is rescued from a basement hook while you are in the basement, from below becomes active. Once you exit the basement, any pallets, lockers, or windows that were interacted within 16/24/32 meters within the last 15 seconds seconds are highlighted in white for 6/8/10 seconds

~Perks~

Self sacrifice - when you preform a safe unhook, if you are sacrificed without entering the struggle phase (dead on hook) or killed by the killers hand within 60 seconds, self sacrifice activates. For the rest of the match, when the killer is stunned by perks or pallets, they are stunned for .5/1/1.5 additional seconds. You get blood points every time the killer is stunned and 10%/20%/30% bloodpoint bonus at the end of the match if the survivor you rescued escapes.

Retina burn - flashlight consumption is reduced by 5%/10%/15%. When you sucessfully blind the killer, they have aura blindness for 10/15/20 seconds

Intuitive search - after hiding in a locker for 16/14/12 seconds, exiting slowly will reveal the aura of traps and totems within 24/32/40 meters of that locker for 20 seconds.

~Perks~

Splintered wood - dropping a pallet more than 64/52/40 meters away from the killer will highlight it in green for you. When the killer breaks that pallet, they can not lunge attack or grab survivors off of windows for 8/12/16 seconds. Only one pallet can be affected by splintered wood at a time.

Bust it down - You can not use bust it down while exhausted. When sprinting up to a breakable wall while being chased, press the interact button to break through (5% slowdown during animation.) You become exhausted for 60 /50/40 seconds.

Prime real estate - the first indoor generator you start repairing by yourself activates prime real estate. All survivors can see the generators aura in green as long as you are working on it. When another survivor begins repairing it with you, you both see the killers aura for 4/6/8 seconds. This has a 60 second cool down.
