Accidentally drop a pallet when you want to heal

Is there a way to fix this issue? I play on PS4 and every time I want to heal a teammate near a pallet, the game drops the pallet instead of healing my teammate. It is so frustrating and I feel like a clown every time it happens.

I actually just did a test in a match:

When i move (walk, run or crouch) the game lets me heal when I press the action button.

When I stand still over the survivor the game will drop the pallet.

Should it not be the opposite?? When I run I am most likely in chase, when I stand still I'm not. SO FRUSTRATING and this is like the 100th time I dont manage to make the intended play.

Either remind controls or pay close attention to the prompt at the bottom if the screen.

Yeah I agree this is annoying, didn’t know that it actually prompts to healing when you are moving.. that’s pretty dumb..

you can of course rebind inputs to avoid this, or don’t heal right beside a pallet..

Well, it should not be this way. There are so many times I could've stunned the killer, get the last second of heal of a downed teammate and get to safety.

Change healing command, I had it on square on ps4 because of the same reason.

Go into your controls setting and have "actions" button be different from "pick up item interaction". I changed mine awhile back because I got sick of dropping pallets accidentally. Took few matches to get used to the change.

Mouse and keyboard players don't have this problem ;D

But for your sake, I hope it gets addressed.
