Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Clueless

The latest killer and patch notes show how clueless the devs are... and its really disappointing.

They clearly do not listen to their whispers who put soooo much valuable time and experience, im convinced the devs barely play their own game and just blindly do things lol

An already weak killer made weaker/unchanged in any meaningful way...

Like cool, a survivor can hold victor hostage for only 45seconds... only thats 1 gen lol so you’re left without any power for a whole gen against good survivors.

Victor can hold survivors in lockers “for short time”... GREAT... oh its coming in the future because they had no fore sight to see this blatant weakness?... ha

Weakened an already weak killer perk

And weakened an already meh survivor perk...

In a year they have added 1 meta changing perk, changed perks that didnt need changing... changed a few super weak perks and kept them super weak.

They’ve added one respectable killer and outta 24 perks maybe 6 are respectable or better....

Heres to hopefully a more intelligent 2021 <3

How are they weakening the Twins with these changes? They’re (eventually) buffing Victor against lockers and buffing Charlotte to be able to see survivors with Victor on their head. No nerfs here.

Don’t get me wrong, I have no intention of buying the Twins until the locker fix is implemented, and even then I’m dubious they’re any good. But there’s no way these changes are making them weaker.

The OPs post is bleeeegh, but the new Killer might be neat as a concept (a killer who is two in one), but gameplay wise, looking at both big name streamers, who seems to only test how easy 4ks are to achieve, and smaller streamers, who are just chaotic a lot of times (but they test what is possible)...

The Twins are (again, unfortunately) awesome on paper, not awesome in execution.

Honestly, that might be the biggest flaw in the game overall: lots of stuff that sounds great on paper, but in practice it falls flat cause the 'human' factor has been overlooked (apparently). Like, look how many killers are regarded as OP/without counter, who, when you look closer and see what was intended they should be pretty well balanced. it's however players exploiting mechanics that give them a bad impression.

Same with perks: on paper OoO, DS, Noed, etc are perfectly fine. In practice they are easily exploitable.

And the Twins share the same fate: Good idea, bad execution.

Like, if the devs would go and eg have it that Victor would DOWN a survivor and immobilize them when downed unless he's pried off before that, (with the possibility to either switch back to charlotte in the meantime (weakening victor slightly) or staying on victor (allowing survs to sneak up to charlotte and distract her, immediately prying victor off/killing him if it succeeds (skillcheck for example?) ) it'd be much more powerful and still decently fair, but people would cry bloody murder.

Oh Lord, give up while you're behind man.

You have an absolute right to complain about any product after you buy it. When you buy a car and it keeps malfunctioning and getting recalled by the manufacturer, it is perfectly within your rights to complain about the situation, which is for better or worse what OP is doing. No one in their right mind will ever suggest that you should open up your own manufacturing plant and make a car of your own, which is what you are doing.

This thread will definitely get locked, but yeah. Devs really seem to struggle to understand their own game somehow.
