PC - Open hatch with a key

happened on: Ormond
offerings that could affect problem: There was two offerings regarding the hatch. 1 to spawn hatch in main building, 1 to spawn hatch in killershack
experience with problem: I found a key in a chest. When I found the hatch and wanted to unlock it, my character just got moved back a tiny bit and dropped into the ground to about knee level. When I moved I got back up on the ground, but trying to uinlock the hatch again, would do the same. It didn't consume my key. Hatch spawned in main building if that matters.
