Removing Bloodlust actually helped me as killer

I was very upset with the decision to remove bloodlust. I wasn't going to play this weekend until I finally gave into temptation.

So I played a few games and surprisingly I did better then usual. This was due to the fact that I wasn't wasting so much time getting to bloodlust 3 on a semi safe loop.

I still think bloodlust is needed for a few loops in this game but not having it isn't actually that bad. Anyway just wanted to share that for all you hesitant killers this weekend.

From my experience so far playing a few games of survivor and killer i've noticed a few differences. Looping is much easier and cars loops are the bane of killers now, there are some infinites without bloodlust, It requires survivors to make more mistakes during a chase, if the killer makes a mistake it can cost them loads of time now.

I feel they should keep blood lust 1 at minimum as the car loops i've seen are just stupid and waste way too much time.

Yeah I admit your more forced to kick the pallet now if you don't wanna be looped to oblivion.

Being looped at infinites will not help you improve as a killer trust me I know from experience.

Also the un-mindgamable loops that just take a long time and force you to eat the pallet also don't help you learn as there's nothing to learn there.

Blood Lust's removal doesn't help improve killers at all nor does blood lust even help lower level players get downs they didn't deserve.

Yeah, until you run into an infinite loop, then no amount of skill will help you.

  • I didn't even notice it tbh; most of the killers I main don't need it that much. I imagine some killers probably felt it though...Plague, maybe legion....

Name one that isn't the basement with the right window spawn on Haddonfield and Badham.

The "Fun bus" (Open window bus)?

People have found a way to loop it so it drops chase and resets the window vault blocker counter every 2 laps making it a true infinite.

No by the time they get into a spot were they could drop it a Blood lusted killer could have reached them.

They can barely dropped the chase in time and it just doesn't work against a killer with even a single play with your food stack(Effectively a bloodlust stack).

Mind you your right about the open bus being a problem in fact that bus was one of the(infinites) reasons why blood lust was added in to begin with.

Edit: Remember 5% is the difference between a loop being unsafe against a normal 115% killer but safe vs a 110% killer.

Yes, removing it, also was healthy for my killer plays.
