Matchmaking Queues Trash
id like to take a minute to ask why does it take 12 minutes for me to get in a match when there are literally tons of people online and then it gets brushed over like sand when someone asks the question because its being ignored, basically the forums are neglected and boring

MM queue times are dynamic over the course of the day. As a rule of thumb, generally:
1) mornings and daytime - fast/instant queues as survivor, long (eventually extremely long) waiting time for killers
2) evenings/nights - the tables turn, survivors wait while killers... well, they also wait, but it usually takes about 5 seconds.
Q times depend on number of killers in queue to number of survivors in queue ratio, rather than total amount of players online.

If you’re experiencing this over the weekend as a survivor, it most likely has to do with the bloodlust experiment the devs are running.

A whole lot of people aren't playing killer this weekend. Expect queue times to be long.

my rank is usually high but with mmr being disabled it wouldnt matter

time of day im on its like all day, especially now since i have a 9 day break.
survivor and killer are bad queues
crossplay is enabled
i still get bad killers, and yes i agree that they ruined this. i feel bad looping now because there is no way for them to catch up and when im playing killer on this new ######### map i get looped by the kid with object for like 3 minutes and by the time i catch up all gens are done and they already are at the exit
im feeling like this might be the downfall for this community

You can thank crossplay for that. Turning it off won't even help because most PC players don't realize it's an option.
