Pretty much.
It honestly reminds me of the uproar when old Ruin was changed. I.e. it highlighted just how many players were dependent on it, and thus had formed bad habits while playing killer.
This thing with BL is exactly the same thing. History repeating.

It was kinda funny at the beginning but it's pretty surprising how many people got so upset about an experiement

Yea... I know

Also about camping, tunnelling, slugging.

That's standard procedure though

Don't worry, within the week we'll be back to nerf NOED/DS threads and "devs don't care about us" posts.
3 -
Some people are legit acting like its permanent and wasn't for one weekend.

I already miss them 😢

Don't forget that the devs are survivor sided ☝️

I feel like the only people that say that are the literal "I only play killer" people. Like how you get some people who only play survivor and have some wack opinions. These killers wouldn't have lasted 2 games in 2016/17 DBD. They're also forgetting around late 2018/mid 2019 where we had significant survivors/pallet and loop nerfs. The healing speed nerf also.

And don't forget about the spirit she has no counterplay 🤓😂

I'm cool with those threads tbh.

I honestly don't know why people can't see these experiments are very good for the game. This allows them to test things before they decide to nerf or buff them, so they can do so accordingly.
Maybe disable meta builds (both sides) for a week to see how much they actually boost win rates. The PTB doesn't have a big enough player pool to test things like that.
But, as it is, we'll probably have a few "disable Bloodlust forever" posts for a week until The Twins come out.

I hope we get more of these weird experiments for devs to collect data. Every other weekend or something. Disable a mechanic/set of perks that is divisive in the community and see what's best for the future.

I mean, Bloodlust should be disabled forever, once the problematic Maps are reworked. It feels good to actually outplay a Killer on unsafe Tiles without them becoming super-fast.
But that is something for the future.
In general, I hope they test a lot more stuff like this. Even quite frequently like every second weekend or once per month. Like disabling Moris and Keys for 3 Days, disabling certain Perks for some Days...
Personally I would also like to have a small BP-Bonus for all players during those weekend, like a 1.25-multiplier to animate even more people playing.

So do I. Honestly, I want them to disable Keys and Mori's for a period of time, just to see how much they inflate (or don't inflate) winrates on both sides. That is the biggest thing I can think of right now.

I'm more partial to keeping Bloodlust 1 (for those good ol' shift+w gamers) but I do agree that 2&3 need to go once all the maps are better. If a killer can't hit/mindgame at a short pallet, that's their fault. Same thing for if they try to Bloodlust a safe one.
They definitely need to add some type of reward. The amount of people that just kinda defaulted immediately to "I'm not playing killer this weekend" is bad.

Me with the key and mori threads

I mean it is the big talking point right now, it would have more surprising if people didn't talk about it

They should also disable people from playing 1 side for the whole time and complaining because they care only about their side.
Imagine the uproar when people would have to play both sides equally for real instead of just pretending
