Have you ever actually “raged”?

I mean to the point where you throw something, hit something, swear out loud, shut off the game, or anything else.

Usually I never play to the point of rage I just stop playing if I’m getting tilted and do something else. But one time I kept playing a bad match which already sucked but it was the end chat that set me off. I got up, dropped my controller and just walked away.

Has anyone else had a bad rage with DBD or do you just close the game when you’re starting to feel upset?

Not at DbD, but I came really close to it with Bloodborne, after spending hours and hours trying to kill one boss I nearly managed it and then when the boss was almost dead, I sneezed and screwed the whole thing up! That's the closest I've come to raging in any game.

I think the most intense match I had was in this game where I was legitimately tunneled hardcore and camped, and I was chased past gens popping and teammates doing objectives. I'm not a weak player by any means either, it's just that this guy had a knack for finding me looking for help healing or a gen that hadn't been repaired. All I remember is slamming my hand on my bed and flipping off the TV and blocking the killer for being such a frick nugget. He was ghostface too, and as a GF main I was appalled by his lack of marking people and the trashy camping he used!!! At least be sneaky about it, ugh! But yeah, that made me turn off the game lol. I don't wish anything against them, they just played so weird and I hated it. Pretty sure everyone else survived because this dude spent the whole match searching for me and hooking/camping me too :)))))))))

When starting out a few years back I used to get kinda tilted. Doesn't happen very often anymore as I'm older and know remind myself its just a game. I've only had 1 time recently where its happened but it was just a DC.

Wasn't a "smash things" level of rage. I used to do that when I was a Halo kiddie but after a while I realised how often I was spending money on new controllers and just... grew up I guess.

If you reach a point where you're physically damaging things as an adult over a game just take a little time off and chill out. Remind yourself of how insignificant 1 game of DBD is in the grand scheme of things.

I’ve destroyed a controller while playing monster hunter world. I was so close to killing Diablo or whatever his name is( haven’t played for like a year now) after a few hours of trying and he was so close to dying when my right trigger got stuck and I got stopped. So I took a hammer smashed in the trigger and slammed the controller on the ground. It shattered.

I feel that. Bloodborne is a fantastic game but boy can it get your blood a pumping when you die to the same boss for like 50th time. Laurence had me raging pretty hard. I did the DLC for the very first time on NG+4 and boy did he get me a raging. Too me like 70 tries and I had to actually take a break and come back.

As far as DBD goes, nope. Nothing in this game has made me rage all that much. Sure, I might get annoyed in the moment but nothing as far as legit fury.

my "RAGE" is taking a deep breath, i generally don't rage in games... sometimes people around me rage, because i don't rage 🤷‍♀️

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose... sometimes people are annoying (ie. "Toxic" Survivors, "Tunneling" Killers) but that's just how it is

(i am not saying that there is nothing getting me into RAGE mode, Games dont)

Of course. Unless you have a lot of patience anybody can rage at this game if you play a lot.

Playing Jet Set Willy on ZX Spectrum that game when you had gotten so far and dying :/ Once I did hurt my hand by slaming it into the wall. But when NES came I felt more relaxed and since then I don't really care that much, it's just a game is my motto 😀

When I first started playing both Bubba and Demo. Demo not as much.

When I first started with bubba I got lerys 5 times(I'm not exaggerating) 5 times in a row. The fifth time I got lerys I throw my headphones and dcd.

Other games, well let's just say I am notorious for raging at games

I wouldn't say rage in terms of actually getting mad, but I have had moments in DBD that reach the point of being so unfun that there was no point in me sticking around.
