Perks that have a effect without being there
Whats your opinion of perks which change the playstile of a player because they could be there?
For example the existence of noed encourages survivor to waste time to cleanse dull totems or unbreakable lets killer slug less.

DS makes killers play around it in 99% of games because of the obsession.

The most common one is DS,UB,BT,SG and the new one that is coming Power struggle

NOED and BBQ are the best examples on the killer side. Maybe Undying to a lesser degree (it's not usually expected unless Ruin is also in use).
DS and Dead Hard are the best examples on the survivor side (assuming an Obsession is in the trial). Good killers will always try to bait out Dead Hard unless the survivor proves that they don't have it.

I would rather not have more perks that immediately force a change to your playstyle just for the fact that they exist.

Probably less, just for the sake of variety.
Admittedly, seeing NOED, BBQ, or Undying as survivor annoys me far less then seeing everyone running DS (in the aggressive "you can't touch me" fashion) and Dead Hard when I'm playing killer. But I attribute that to the more limited counter-options available against a lot of survivor perks and the fact that killer may have to deal with these up to 4x as much in a trial.

i was thinking more of perks where you just assumed straight off the bat not based around if killer has enduring etc but yeah i guess you can class spirit fury as one of them
Not sure honestly i dont mind assuming they have it just some of them power wise i have issues with (looking at DS and UB lol) but guess it shows how strong they are even if they are not in play to get into players head like for example theres a obession even if im running obession perks i have to assume DS and i guess now survivors have to assume Undying is in play even if its not especially if ruin is in effect

As killer I assume every survivor has Spine Chill so I try to never look directly at generators I’m heading toward to minimize the alert they get.

the entire survivor meta: DS, UB,BT,DH, adrenaline, deliverance
for killers it's just :bbq, noed, haunted grounds,Bloodwarden,nurse's

I like that you said nurses because I was thinking (I play survivor 75% of the time) I dont heal a bunch around the TR just because of that.

They are a good tool of balancing the game by creating high risk high reward, low risk low reward playstyles.

You mean you can either watch out for all possibilities and play without risk or you take the risk that the other player had something and dont waste time to counter it?

I like them because knowing how to play around each one is the difference between a good and bad player. That being said, it can get a bit overwhelming if too many of these perks are added. Players will be more likely to make mistakes when more of these perks exist.
It will be interesting to see how Power Struggle affects the behavior of Killers.

And you can fake that you have something, in short its many midngames between killers and survivors
