Power: Accelerated Mitosis
Advanced cell manipulation and witchcraft have granted the ability to perfectly create a clone of herself, whilst maintaining a psychic link to the clone.
Press the Power Button to birth an exact duplicate of yourself into the environment. The clone will begin moving forward in a straight path up to 40m from it's starting position 1 second after being created.
While the clone is active, press the Secondary Ability Button to telepathically link with the clone and reabsorb them into your body, assuming the clone's current position in the Trial.
The Dopplegänger's Bio:
In a period of scientific purgatory and the human race on the brink of extinction, the generations brightest slaved away in their labs trying to find any piece of hope.
Patricia Everlast was one of those hope slavers. She burned days, weeks, months...even her last years in her lab, desperate to fix things before it got too late.
Her research was a 'straw house', as her piers in the scientific community would say. The theories and experimentation was all based on the development of cloning. A human's weakness is their tendency to die too easily, she would always say.
In a generation plagued, quite literally, by illness and degenerative diseases, she sought to fix this by extending humanities existence laterally.
She desperately pleaded her case to the board at the Insitution, if we could halt the degeneration, even momentarily, we'd surely be able to progress forward eventually. They scoffed at her and refused to give her research the support she pleaded for.
Acting as that of a scorned lover, she left the Institution to seek out her satisfaction in the arms of another, 74 Crestfalls Valley, up in her father's attic, the origin of her scientific romance.
While setting up her equipment, she noticed boxes caked in dust and just barely intact. She grabbed at the loose cardboard and a bunch of cards and candles tumbled out of the floor. She ran her hand over them, recognising them to be the old tarot collection her father had used in his psychic readings.
She sat back and looked through them all, reminiscing over her memories of him. Her face dropped when she looked over at the crumpled box beside her, a black book titled "Patricia, DO NOT TOUCH"..she laughed and put it back into its crumpled home. She stood and continued setting up her equipment.
Months later she found herself in much the same situation, no progress and failed experiment after failed experiment. Something was missing and she couldn't for the life of her spot it. She spoke aloud to herself please, somebody just show me what i'm missing! She sighed and banged her fist on the table, knocking a petri dish off. Kneeling to pick up the shattered pieces, she glanced over at the book laying there in the box. She opened it, at a loss on everything and purely just to give her hands something to do other than tear her hair out. Encantations and Rituals titled the first page. She turned page after page, each one intriguing and compelling her to keep reading.
Patricia closed the book to her chest tightly. She couldn't possibly use a crazy mans superstitious ramblings as scientific methodolgy.
She placed the book on the table, running her finger along the spine. To hell with it. She opened it up and flipped the pages until she got to the page that related most to her predicament.
The Process Of Life And Death. She read it all over and over, each time it made more sense than the time before. So, all I need to do is introduce a fresh gene into an already corrupted vessel?
She sat back and rubbed her eyes...easy.
She looked out of the attic window at the neighbour cutting his hedges. He'll do. She saunted over to him and leaned slightly forward over his fence, feigning admiration of his appearance, well, not entirely pretending. As if feeling her eyes on him, he turned to look at her, standing upright when he saw the look in her eyes. He wiped the sweat off his brow and introduced himself. She didn't care, she didn't come to talk, hope was waiting on her, and she was a slave to it.
Weeks past and she was growing impatient at the lack of progress with her exeriment. She found herself in a bar, a thick liquid in one hand and a piece of arm candy in the other, hope was still waiting on her. She stood up and took him by the hand, something inside her making her pause. An odd sensation deep within her, stirring and climbing. She made her way to the toilets and threw up in the sink. The arm candy asked her how much she'd had to drink, she knew she hadn't had enough to even bother continuing with their little plans.
One trip to the chemist later, she found herself back home and performing yet another test, this time she had got the result she was looking for. The stick of plastic in her hand read positive, and that was all Patricia needed to see to burst into tears. Tears of joy. Her slaving wasn't over, but hope was now on the horizon and she was eager to meet it.
She called in some favours at the Insitutions hopsital wing and began the second stage of her experiments.
The experiments went on without a hitch, once the tests were performed she would head home to begin the ritual aspect of her theory. She lit the candles and placed them all around her, she began the encantations, the aroma of the candles filling the air. Feeling that odd sensation building up inside her again, she abruptly stood to rush to the toilet. Unaware that she had knocked a candle over in her haste she continued down the stairs. Coming over dizzy she collapsed, her shoulder sliding down the wall as her legs gave out.
She stirred to the sounds of voices yelling in the distance. Smoke filling the air around her, and a glow radiating the room behind her, she slowly tried climbing to her feet. The wooden beams burning and collapsing around her made it hard for her to maintain her footing. She collapsed again. Her mind racing, all she could do was finish the encantation she had begun prior.
The world filled up with smoke, and a whisper answered her words, saying the encantation back to her. Patricia clutched at her stomach and smiled. Welcoming the black legs that cradled around her. A slave to hope is no different being a slave to fear.

Brendon Grahams' Bio:
In one of humans darkest periods, nations at war, men were sent away to do their country proud.
For one man, Brendon Grahams, his fight was extremely personal. Born to wealthy parents, this was his chance to show them how capable he was, they need not hold him back anymore. His life, his rules.
He soon discovered that the frontline was no place for a man living by his own rules. Damp and dirty all the time, with the evergrowing knowledge that death is just over the surface of their trench.
He toyed with the idea of driving into HQ and telling them just how stupid the generals were and that they should join us down there if they had faith in this plan. Obviously that would be just as suicidal as actually obeying their plans and marching out the trench and into the literal line of fire.
He joked with his friends about sneaking around the outside and catching them off guard.
The idea actually seemed smarter than walking right towards a bunch of machine gun nests.
A few days later he received a letter from his parents. It makes us both proud of you for attempting to do our country proud. We know what our next letter will be about, but we just want you to know that we're ok with it, knowing you're doing things your way, making your life mean something in the way you want.
He crumpled the paper up and threw it down in the mud. They're okay with me throwing my life away in a fools mission? No way.
The whistles all around the trench signalled for one thing, it was time for the fools mission to begin.
He stood at the foot of the ladder, his friends on either side of him. Last one there buys the first round. You're on! They both jeered. Brendon swallowed hard, his hands on each of their shoulders. No words could come to his lips.
The whistles sounded once more and the trenches were filled with the roar of men scrambling up the ladders. Brendon took a deep breath and began the climb. Cracks of gunfire flew overhead. He felt the cold touch of mud as he pulled himself out of the trench, a heavy weight pressed down on him. He shrugged it off and glanced down to see his friends still eyes looking at him from the mud. He gasped and stepped down off the ladder. He closed his eyes and shook his head. This is crazy! We're not resources to just use up! He looked up at his friend again. His stare boaring into his mind. Brendon grabbed his gun and ran down the trench. The captains in their quarters calling out to him. He ignored them and kept running, one of them tried tackling him to the ground. Brendon shot him in the leg and pushed past him. He kept running, the shouts growing distant. His legs never stopped working until he was far clear of the mud and shouts.
As he lay in the overgrowth, hiding from the cars patrolling overhead, he reached down at his water bottle to swig it. A snap in the distance made him jump, it sounded like a branch, but not quite. He stood and caustiously walked towards the noise. He drew his gun and pointed it forward, the snap again followed by a snarl-like noise.
He peered past the tree to see a black leg move out of view. He dropped low and began crawling silently through the leaves. As he got to the tree the limb had disappeared behind, he slowly found his feet and jumped out. Nothing.
The all too familiar snap again. He looked up and saw the black limb above him, followed by four more. He lifted his gun and fired repeatdly. The limbs loomed closer to him. He grabbed a branch and swung it fiercly. The branch splintered on impact. Brendon fell to the floor, trying to get as low and out reach of the black limbs.
The limbs clawed around Brendon and he closed his eyes, his breath held and his body trembling.
He opened his eyes to find that the limbs had gone, and the world around him was filled with fog and screams.
He reached for his gun but couldn't find it. Looking around he spotted the glow of a fire and began moving towards it. He muttered, I guess i'm a fool afterall.

I love your chapter idea. Everything from the story down to the perks. Great job.

Really interesting power. So it kinda works like mirage from apex where you send a clone running forward but you can then teleport to it. It seems like it would be easy to spot though. A few things you could do to give the power some more value:
-Make it where if you're looking at a survivor, it will pursue that survivor until it hits an object
-add like 5-10 seconds of cloak when you make the clone but it would need a drawback. A cooldown before creating another clone will allow you to cloak, you can't attack while cloaked, or you have to hold the power button for several seconds to activate the clone (which would also give you mindgame options. 99% the cloaning action, start walking in a straight line, survivor thinks the clone is less of a threat and doesn't realize you faked the power)
-make it where your TR and red stain are transferred onto the clone. That may be too strong, so you could also split the TR with the clone, each having 12 meter TR.
Perks are pretty cool, doppelganger is really interesting and trial and error seems like a good "reward for not tunneling" perk. Lab rat seems a bit underwhelming. I would give it an additional small malice like mangled for the injured obsession.
Over the top seems awesome and balanced, im down. Commando seems a bit underwhelming, maybe it lets the survivor delay the dying state for 2/4/6 seconds instead of being able to crawl a bit sooner? Not sure about in the face of danger, i don't play survivor enough to know how handy that would be.
Fun chapter though man! Let me know if you want a link to some of my chapter or game mode ideas, I can't get people to comment to save my life

Yeah, I had the Hologram ability from Halo and Mirage from Apex in mind as I was thinking of it.
Those are some interesting tweaks there:
- I did contemplate a track mechanic, but ultimately felt it would be too easy to get a down or hit if the hologram did all the chasing for you as well as being able to chase a seperate survivor with her true form.
- a cloak feels like it would defeat the purpose of a clone. The idea being that there are two 'active' killers in the map when triggered.
- The TR idea would be cool, splitting it into 12 each may be too strong though, 16m may be good for the Clone and 24m still on the real one. Because that way it would give the survivors some small tip off that Clone is the one gunning straight toward their gen, hook etc if they ate smart enough to determine the TR distance.
- Lab Rat, maybe instead of crippling the heal time, the bonus effect could be to afflict Hindered for 25 seconds-ish onto the Injured Obsessionrvivor that fully heals via a Self-Heal action?
- Commando having the function to crawl as soon as you are hit into Dying is designed with the intention of allowing survivors to gain more ground towards and Exit Gate or Pallet. With the bonus function of making them silent on the floor to give it more worth.
- In The Face Of Danger is sort of a situational perk designed to give the survivors a boosted chase tool when the killer gets momentum off a kill. Making it a little harder to chain immense pressure, while also being not overly strong of a tool, but useful and situationally clutch too.
- Yeah definitely link your ideas! Always fun reading them.

Well the cloaking was super short just so that if a survivor sees you use it, tget won't know. If they see you split in 2 they will know and will always be able to tell which one is the clone based on movement. I guess the main thing is to do something to make the clones movement less obvious, like, may be you could do something like mirage and make it where clicking the alt power button makes the clone mimic your actions. Just thoughts though, its a very good power already.
Glad I could help with some insight!

I would LOVE to get some feedback on these chapters I've created. I'm most interested in peoples thoughts about the blood feud game mode and don't be afraid of the dark. And I've put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into the Repo one
Repo! The Genetic Opera: Survivors get missed payments when they go too long without repairing or cleansing, and 3 missed payments makes them oblivious and exposed when they're not repairing or cleansing. Killers power allows him to see survivors auras and status effects during a chase, and gives him movement/vault/break/stun recovery bonuses for every survivor he can see with his ability.
Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark: A swarm of implike Fae that leave ambushes on objects they interact with. When survivors get Fae attached to them they are basically annoyed (very slightly hindered and can't hear as well) but can preform skill checks to remove them, at the risk of revealing their position when failed. The swarm can go into swarm mode to automatically leave ambushes and attach fae to survivors, but the swarm can't attack in this mode
Left 4 Dead: basically a killer that lets you cycle between different powers as the game progresses, and gives you more control over that power if survivors gen rush. Too complicated to actually be implimented but its a fun idea
Game mode - Blood Feud (1v1 killer simultaneously with 3v3 survivors): survivors compete to power their exit gates faster while killers compete for hooks, kills, and try to defend their designated generators.

Ah I see, yeah that actually makes it better. Almost like a passive phas and then the split happens when both are out of phase and they come back simultaneously but moving in different directions, that sounds great. I also considered the mirrored movement too, I just struggled to see how it would look in-game lol
