Locked out of matchmaking after the game bugged.

I had just joined a match as survivor when the game froze after a few seconds. Then the game completely closed and I had to restart it. When I got back on I was locked out of matchmaking. Not very fair to me for losing out on my items. This was on xbox. Also something is messed up with the making a new discussion the options are bugged.
