Remove the dc penalty
So tired of getting kicked from games that I have no control of an end up with a dumb ass match making lock for a certain amount of time it’s bs that others have to suffer especially when their in a match the frame freezing needs fixed it’s constantly dropping a couple killers need reworked like the pairmid head his weapon is to long he should not be able to down u after u dropped a pallet on top of that his little mori he had that needs no perk to use it

I have said this to other people who say that the dc penalty is bs or unfair. The only reason it will actually affect you is if you are leaving a ton of matches by choice, or if you are disconnecting a ton whether it's internet or system issues. Either way you shouldn't be playing if either of the two things are consistently happening.

Maybe the game could check if your ping is >200 maybe? And if it is it wont give penalty. Idk what is rly high ping.

It needs removed until they fix the game. My game crashed 3 times today after I loaded into the game. It sucks that I get a matchmaking ban when it's not my fault. I play on Xbox.

It's very forgiving as well. Most of the people complaining are people who DC for toxic reasons and are full of it, or people who actually did get one unfair time lock for like 4 minutes or w/e and then started lying on the forums saying it locked them for hours or something for attention.
I've very very rarely seen any actual complaints with merit; because the system is inherently fairly forgiving. My internet between the hours of 12 and 4 cuts out randomly and will kick me from games and it counts as a DC, it usually takes longer for my net to come back than my time out is.
If I keep trying to play knowing it does that and it does it again I might get a 15 minute lock out.
I have never had to wait more than half an hour for a lockout; because if it happens twice I know my net is unstable that day and to just leave it be. It does this like 5/7 days of the week, but this routine is enough I have never had an unrealistic time ban.

Longest I've had was 15 minutes because I DC'd against a toxic Meyers and about 2 hours later my internet kicked out. I waited out the 15 minutes, played a couple more games then quit for the night. The next night I DC'd as killer against a bully squad and got a 5 minute ban.
The ban is very lenient and if it's a constant issue for you I highly recommend contacting your isp or updating your router. If it's the game that keeps crashing, on console I'd suggest reinstalling and on PC either reinstalling or verifying your game files because in terms of actual game crashes on PC I've had a total of 2 in my year of playing but a friend of mine had it crash 6 times in a month and after a full reinstall his game hasn't had a single issue.

Agreed. Also im tired of waiting ten to fifteen minutes while the killer slugs the last two survivors. Slowly getting picked up and knocked down so he can find the fourth and prevent the hatch. Its not that serious people! Hook somebody and get on with the game.
