How many people did NOT get the dwightcrow?
Im just curious as to how many people were not able to obtain this charm.
Im not a fan of the way they gave it out or the fact that it's killer only charm, and especially if you were on a console you were pretty much screwed off rip.
I am on xbox and i did manage to get one by waiting a few days and then watching one of ohTofu's late night streams where he put ten codes on screen and then blocked out last 2 letters to give people a chance to type them in.
Anywho this post is for people who did not get the charm.
If you could post what platform your on and about how many times you tried to enter it in along with how you got your codes twitch, YouTube, ect
Also did you try to the end to no avail or did you just give up for whatever reason.

I play on PS4 and I tried trough youtube videos (notifications on) and a few streams but i gave up cause it´s pointless. One Youtube video was 2 minutes out and all codes have been used cause it takes ages to type them in on PS4

On Xbox. Tried several streams and a few on YT but always taken. After the concerns about consolers became known most streamers tried various ways to level the playing field, but I saw two who did not and said they're just "pumping out the numbers until they're gone" and when asked about console's chances both remarked "quite low" and the like. I did not follow either.
Towards the end of their giveaways even the nicest streamers seemed burnt out and bothered, through no fault of their own.
I hope the devs handle such events differently in the future and think them through.

eh it's just a charm. It's not super important and i didn't make an attempt to get it. If it were an actual cosmetic maybe but charms don't really peak my interest.

I'm on PC and didn't even bother as I personally don't care about charms and even if I did, why would I want to sit around watching streams trying to nab a code instead of playing the game during the event that was going on at the time?

I had my game open and waited for one. Only to find out each code had 10 uses and I was in a stream with 700 people.
Don't get me wrong its cool they wanted to give their fog whisperers a little boost but going back on their word on exclusives was the wrong way too go. Shard/Auric cell codes would have been better.
Also the fact that the streamers like Cahlaflour and Paulie and a few other had to go out of their way to make it fair for people entering on a controller was just silly.

I didn’t bother. I didn’t particularly want it and I didn’t want to take the charm when other people really wanted it. Even if I did want it, it would have been very hard to get because I’m on PS4.

It is a charm...
I literally forget about their existence unless I play the game and I hook someone and notice dingling bits on hooks, because I equipped some months ago.
Charms are probably one of the worst cosmetic items I have ever seen in any game.
Only worthwhile may be glowing ones to see your hooks from afar, but even then, they are all meh.
I don't even pay any attention to charms on hooks when facing other killers.
