Switch Progression

My gf has DBD for the switch and is trying to transfer her progress to STEAM because I just got her the game. Whats the best way to make the transfer when account.BHVR doesn't have a nintendo option?

You have to wait until the Nintendo option is enabled for the BHVR account.

it will not be a transfer but you will be able to use both accounts with the same progress

they said it would come soon(tm). We don’t have any ETA though..

I can’t figure out. .. so sorry, but

I own the game on steam. I have a Switch. Will I have to buy the game on switch to play on switch? But eventually can use the progress I have so far on my PC.

If you want to play on he Switch itself, yes you will need to buy the game for the Switch. Once cross progression is released for it, any progress you've made can be crossed/ combined with any progress you've made on Steam once you link both accounts to BHVR.

One thing, though, if you have not already, do not link your steam account to BHVR. There's an issue where you aren't able to add or invite cross play friends after doing so, which will get in the way if you're on Steam and your g/f is on Switch. The only way to fix this is to unlink your account from BHVR, which causes a loss of all progress made since you linked.

In short, you'll be able to merge your progress between platforms once cross progression is availabile and you link the accounts, but I do not recommend linking your steam account to BHVR until after it actually is availabile.
