A few things regarding DbD on Playstation 5

First off: The PS5 version looks really nice and 60fps is awesome. Thanks guys :)

But a few things can be made to make the experience better

  1. Make crossplay between PS4 and PS5 like a normal PSN play, so no need to turn on crossplay, unless you want to play against XBOX and/or PC gamers
  2. 4K is nice, but the icons, text, skillchecks... or better say the overall UI is very small. Please adjust the size to normal when you play in 4K


I guess you can apply this to XBOX players as well.

    I've seen threads like this and will relay what I've learned (i think).

    UI size definitely needs addressed.

    The cross play is more complex. The ps5 is above par with standard gaming PC's. While that seems insignificant to you because pc still has the mouse and keyboard, it's very relevant to a lot of ps4 players. Because you have a crisper clarity and much better frame rate it would give you an obvious advantage against ps4s current optimization.

    I know most games don't employ this but in a game of literally pixel by pixel, moment to moment awareness it would be horribly lopsided in your favor.

    I agree that it does suck as you are forced to play against pc players that play entirely differently or wait an insane amount of time for a lobby to fill.

    My guess is after Christmas the lobby times go down significantly.
